This is a beautiful building just 1 1/2 block to the ocean. The rooms are basic and clean although the hallways are a bit dark. Worth the price paid. The parking area is small but adequate and free. There were 2 beds in each of our rooms but we were told we could only use 1 of them for the price we paid. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance.

Wonderful hotel. Owner takes great pride in his property. I’d not hesitate to stay again.

I would say the hotel is a good place for a single or a couple to stay. I'm not sure if it would work if a whole family wanted to stay there, but then again Corozal is not a very popular tourist destination, so it probably would be rare for a whole family to stay there.

You get what you pay for. It's not a nice country to visit, Belize. But this place tried to make up for it with a decent mid-level hotel service. Rooms are clean, check in process okay. If you have to travel through Belize then this place is a-okay.

Very nice , the management and staff could not have been more helpful. They have large balconies with sea views. There is a market next door and places to walk to get a hot meal . I will stay here when I come back to Corozal Town. This is a very nice area of town where you will see children and families playing soccer, swimming, by the sea . There is always a cool breeze blowing in Corozal from the sea . Can’t wait to come back !

Great Urban Property in Corozal. Walking distance to the sea, restaurants and shopping. The owner and staff were accommodating. We enjoyed our few days at Las Palmas.

I stayed one night in Las Palmas and had an extremely pleasant night. Since the moment we arrived Charlie was really nice and welcoming . The room is small but had everything we needed: the pillows are good (we have asked for extra ones and Charlie helped us as kind as always), the air conditioning works well and is silent, the shower has a good pressure and is hot, the towels and bedding were clean and smelling so good and the Wi-Fi worked well (we didn’t use it for work or watching movies though). It is a very good (the best we found in Corozal) cost benefit. We were coming from the ferry from San Pedro and didn’t even need a cab to arrive in the hotel.If you are looking for somewhere to stay a night or two in Corozal, I recommend this place.

Best place in centre of Corozal . Got a room with big windows. Could sleep without AC which of course was included. Clean room with good beds.

Las Palmas Hotel is centrally located and it is easy to walk to a lot of restaurants and bars in town or along the coast. The owner is very helpful with tips and suggestions. The rooms are a bit spartan but they are clean and everything works, which this writer cannot say about all Belizean hotels. The air conditioning in the room was a blessing and made the stay so much more comfortable. There is free WiFi but at the time of our stay it did not work in the room. One had to go down to the ground floor close to the managers office to get a good signal but then it exhibited pretty good band-with. The courtyard is fully enclosed and locked at night so the ample parking space is very secure in case you have a car or motorcycle. Both, parking and WiFi were free of charge. The room was serviced daily and we got fresh towels every day. Again, this is not standard in all places in Belize.Overall a good choice if you are on a budget and just want a clean room with a/c at a very reasonable rate.

Enjoyed the quietness of the area & view of the sea! AC, hot water, & Flat screen TV were all good. On the down side, there was no coffee or free filtered water as I have received in every other hotel or hostel. There was a fridge & small microwave but no utensils, cups or plates. Nice rest stop.

Convenient location, very hospitable, but not clean. Looks tired. Fridge and microwave in room very useful, but old and dirty.

Pretty cool hotel, right in the middle of Corozal Town. Anyone going Corozal Town, should stay here...the owner is awesome.

Charlie’s place is great! Staff really nice as well, clean and ac works excellent! Close to beach in quiet area! Highly recommend!

There was hot water in the shower but not in the bathroom sink so you have to shave with cold water. The front desk explained this as that most hotels in Belize do not have hot water in the sink only the shower. I have not found this to be true at any of the hotels I have stayed at here in Belize. Also the internet did not work in the rooms.
