This place was awesome to stay at. Would definitely recommend bringing your own pillows as the pillows there were ridiculously hard! Also got a call from the hotel saying they would email me details for my late check in but never received anything so had to call up which was an easy fix but just thought it was weird to not email when you said you would. Also conditioner too as we were only supplied soap and shampoo. The key/lock is pretty fidgety to handle and also there were clothes left in a drawer and a hat from I’m guessing the previous booking? There was only 3 channels on the TV(2 sport and movie channel was fuzzy) But overall I did enjoy staying here if you’re going to be out 80% of the time. It’s a great place to come home too at night and just chill out and sleep. Also bathroom lights are AWESOME! Such a beautiful bathroom heaps of mirrors and good lighting. It was close to all amenities in Rotorua and was a great trip.

Very welcoming staff and very courteous. Place very clean and room was excellent and all facilities clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a well priced enjoyable stay in Rotorua.

We managed to book this property at the last minute and were expecting an average motel at best after booking only the day before during the peak busy season. However, we were very pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the lovely receptionist who was so pleasant, the house was very cute and had everything we needed. The kids were rapt with the place and the facilities we had, it was close to everything, we would definitely go back.

The room lacks basics like glasses cutlery mirrors, bathroom so small, no windows excess issues lifts not working no parking arrangement it was really not what the pictures on the website shows.

Oddly configured room that looked like it was morphed from an old property. Nice staff though and very friendly!

I arrived at 19:30, but no one in the reception. Also its dark and locked. I called, but nobody answered. I had been waited for 30min in my car, but no one came. So I tried to find other motel and stayed. I already reported to you, also tried to contact to the motel directly for the refund, but still no answer.Shin

Clean facilities. Parking was a bit painful as we had a larger vehicle (SUV) and couldn't actually fit in the space provided so had to park down the street a bit and walk over to our motel room.

The room was very neat and everything was brand new and freshly painted. Great location close to most attractions in town. Very friendly and accommodating host

Laundry came back dirtier than it went in. Room was nice. No smoke alarm!

This property needs updating and renovating. The new owners had only been there for 10 days so I'm sure they will do what is necessary. The sound attenuation between rooms was poor and, unfortunately, we had members of a sports team next to us; they were very noisy!

There was no sign in the room to notify the cleaner to “clean room” so our room wasn’t clean for one day.

The room I had is a place made for a single person who just wants a room for the night. Any longer than 1 night in this particular room is out of the question. If you're looking to stay longer than a night suggest looking at upgrading. It's ok for a night, the Service ok, parking a Little tight for big vehicles and bed uncomfortable.

Small, clean. location great and cute had everything we needed for our stay. The spa bath was just the icing on top. Though I must say lack of communication when we checked out early in the morning due to not knowing where to put our room key when we left. The office was not open so a little confusing.

We arrived at Rotorua around 10am and owner was really nice to recommend us to have a walk at the nearby redwoods and let us check-in at 12pm. Reception was well-stocked with activities to do in Rotorua. The room we have booked was a King Studio, room was well-equipped with stove, pots/pans, cutlery, plates/bowls/mugs/glasses, chopping board, fridge. Very impressive for the price we've paid!

You get what you pay for with this motel, it was rickety and we could hear everything that was going on in the other rooms and outside. Was a cure room but not very homely (wooden floors, ok bed) so for the price this room was good. Service was great though! Was greeted with a smile.

Friendly family owned Motel, feel welcome. I stayed in the economy single room without any window to open - only the glassdoor gave light during the daytime. What I didn‘t expect were the bed bugs bites... :(

Sky tv was difficult to get to work and steps on getting it to work would be handy - it didn't connect correctly by turning the tv on and after some time twiddling, freeview channels were all we used. The room servicing to replace things was a bit meagre and tea bag volumes in the room were a bit thin and basic compared to other places i have stayed. Shower curtain placement was critical to avoiding water spray going on the floor. Good for the price though. Had an ok stay overall and liked the location. Handy to lakeside and parks.

The Asian lady at the counter just kept repeating herself when I arrived about it. No other places available in rotorua so I paid the extra For $30 extra they gave me a sofa bed which was so uncomfortable. I could feel the metal bars through it. Had the worse night sleep ever
