Room was very clean but window ac unit did not get room below 85 degrees all night. Booked for two nights but after first night of not being able to sleep because it was so hot we decided to hang out with family and then return home to sleep!

One of the best spots to stay in Kernville. Very clean and different rooms options. Parking is safe and depending on room, reserve parking.

Air conditioner needs replacing. Blazing hot night.

This has been the best places I've stayed at in kernville, the cabin was cozy and so close to everything, we walked to the river, we walked to the bar and the diner for breakfast. I used the kitchen in our Cancun to make breakfast and we ate in our little patio. Great experience.

We had a great time on this last minute trip. This quaint inn was central to everything and it was lovely to hear the river right outside our front door. Already looking forward to coming back to this random little treasure of a town named Kernville.

The room was adorable and perfect. So clean and right across from the river. They provide tables and chairs outside every room. Very peaceful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We already booked rooms for our next visit!!!

Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed. Convenient parking right in front of our room. And I loved the little individual patios. Very close to the river to take a stroll. Restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

This was my first time staying at the Kernville Inn and I will definitely be back. I enjoyed my time and my room was very comfy and chill.

If it’s available, we always like staying here. So happy they will take dogs now access to the park along the river and many restaurant choices walk right next-door, and have grapefruit and Cheryl’s! Right in the main part of Kernville.

To start there was poor communication. They don’t answer their after hours phone. The walls are paper thin. Literally can join the conversation of the room next to you. Not so clean. Old. Door locks are sketch. Bed was not comfortable. Paid way too much for this room. Maybe worth $70/night

Had a great time. The only reason it’s not a five stars is because the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Oh also, the walls are very thin.

I’ve stayed here numerous times during the past 10 years with a great group of motorcycle riders. We’ve always enjoyed the spot and the prior owners. This year the management was unfriendly. The man was overheard talking negatively about us and our group. Maybe time to use a different location.

The property is definitely average at best. The shower leaked all over the floor, looked like it had been a problem for a while. My biggest problem was with the “gentleman” (which he was not) at the counter, the female was pleasant to deal with. We stayed at the property with a group of friends, all driving nice vehicles. I was told I could park in front of my room, but in the morning my nice car was a disaster from the incorrectly adjusted sprinklers. They completely covered my car, & had already started to water spot. I was worried about it drying & having to spend hundreds of dollars having the car buffed out to try & removing the water spotting. However, when I approached the “gentleman” in the office about it, his response was less than professional. He immediately started making excuses & blamed it on a broken sprinkler & then rudely said “what do you want ME to do about it”. Judging from his demeanor, I decided to walk away & deal with it myself to avoid a bigger confrontation or worse. I simply said that I would write him an accurate review… Next time I go to that location, I’ll stay across the street at a different motel.

Matt was awesome sending us email updates on our upcoming stay as well as the front desk gentlemen who checked us in was awesome, kind and polite! We wanted to stay much longer but we will book this again!

Great little town

Property and pool were great, 5 stars. AC was not working very well.

Everything was wonderful, easy checkin (we were after the office closed, so our envelope was outside). Only bad thing was the Ice Machine wasn't working. Other than that, everything was fine.

Could use a ceiling fan in room. AC didn’t work very good and the room was hot as hell

Clean, woodsy room with a full kitchen and all amenities. Loved our stay here and will come back!

A/C unit was on its last leg and could only drop the room 5 degrees from the outside temperature. The shower has no exhaust, so the room turned into a sauna. There was a smell from the wall that smelled like something had died in it.

Liked that it was only steps from the river. Wish the air conditioner was closer to the sleeping area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Location: Absolutely Fabulous! walking to all restaurants, shops, River could not be better. Room: bathroom shower is tiny. but clean and totally functional. Microwave and Refrigerator great Bed: very comfortable and room was a good size outside: LOVE the chairs to sit in and read or go over plans for the day BUT they should move the smoking away from the front doors of the rooms
