This was my first time in Japan. I came here to see the Sailor Moon museum exhibit. I was met by a mean subway employee but the staff at the hotel was just so sweet. They didn't mind communicating with me using my translator app and they did the same on their phone. I only know very simple Japanese. The process was simple. I didn't have to pay for incidentals. I had been trying to find out if i had to pay that beforehand but no one had the answer. The room was neat and small. They had all necessities in the room. I'm a small person so I didn't mind the small size. The breakfast buffet was good. It wasn't amazing but the best part was that it tasted so real. I feel like even the miso soup tasted so good, not an artificial taste. The massage lady did a good job. It was firm enough. I was worried it would be too soft massage. The desk staff graciously made the massage reservation for me. You're usually supposed to do it yourself. I appreciate that they tell you what day they're cleaning your room. I had a lot of trash though so I even filled up the restroom trashcan.

Too bad all APA’s hotel are small especially bathroom space not enough space for foreigners that are over 5’9 tall. The tattoo policy is over board for all APA hotels. They should allow people to take a hot spring bath even if they have tattoo. Having them doesn’t make them a bad person.

Nice location close to the station. However if you go from exit 2 according to hotel’s instruction, there will be no elevator nor escalator. We had 4 large size suitcase and we need to carry all of them and take 2 flights of stairs to leave the station.

The best feature of this hotel is the common bath tab/"onsen" room open till 1AM. I still could soak myself in the big bath tab/pool after arriving late due to delays of the international flight and a train.

The hotel is in a great location to explore Nagoya. Everything are less than 20mins away. It has a spa on the 2F which I used each night. However, the room is extremely small even by Japan standard. For a double room, there is only one chair. The luggage had to be stored under the bed. It is annoying to pull the bag in and out multiple times. If I knew this, I would have chosen a different room or hotel.

Great CP value , big TV and free VOD, big and comfortable bed and also spa center. Only downsides are : breakfast buffet is normal , and parking fee is more expensive than surrounding.

The hotel was amazong for the price we payed. The only problem was that front desk people doesn’t seem qualified to attend foreign customers. Not because the barrier language but because they actually laughed at my friends pasport while looking at their nacionality.

A small hotel room that comes packed with all the conveniences and facilities that often big hotel rooms miss out on.
Room itself, whilst small, fits a double bed and an 50 inch TV loaded with free Films and Shows plus with the free public bath you can’t go wrong.
Room was very clean and staff very helpful - luggage hold available if you arrive early or if you need them to hold it after you check out. A short 10 minute walk to Nagoya Castle too.

Overall a very satisfactory stay. Good location 2 minutes’ walk from a couple of subway lines. Rooms compact but functional. Staff were professional if somewhat impersonal. The water in the public bath was slightly too hot.

i really enjoyed the on site sauna and shower room...so nice to begin and end the day (usually on my own but sometimes with other sauna users) soaking in the heated waters and taking a shower; the staff were very helpful (i am not a speaker of Japanese but they were very helpful and able to communicate wel with me=impressive to me)

My stay was good and have an enjoyable holiday with friend.
We have selected breakfast and took at 2nd floor, standard Japanese style food with some western style. Many guests took breakfast at hotel too.
Single room with a very comfortable big bed faced with a flat TV panel. Free WiFi and wired Internet access for businesses and leisure time. For sure, can enjoy entertainment via the Flat-screen TV with pay-per-view films.
We can have a good sleep because of the blackout drapes and curtains. Very comfortable room with climate-controlled air conditioning and daily housekeeping.
The private bathroom is in good amenity with a deep-soaking bathtub. Water is safe for drinking but still have kettler.
Basically, very practical in.safe and desk. Have many information for shopping and eating.
Have a special factility onsen bath for relaxing.
Have a very great time to stay in APA hotel.
