What a GREAT PLACE! Three minute walk to beach, wonderful pool, propane grills, close to many excellent restaurants, stores, etc. David, the owner, is very friendly & helpful, and does everything possible to make Doryman a relaxing & fun place to stay!

Doryman Motel was just perfect! Close to the beach, had a pool and, more important, coffee in the morning. The only thing I would do is maybe provide a microwave in the standard room and move the smoking area maybe to the front of the pool area. People were up at 6 a.m. smoking and talking. Other than that it's a great motel and I would definitey stay there again and recommend it to friends!

Only a few steps to the beach. Easy parking. Pool. Can't ask for more. See you next year David.

Perfect, simple old-timey beach motel. Nice little pool. Three minute walk to beach saves on beach parking cost and hassle. Dedicated service.

This was the nicest hotel experience we have ever had. The owner/manager is extremely friendly and gets to know all of his guests. He even makes connections between his guests to make everyone feel at home. His office is open all day with coffee, tea and snacks and guests are encouraged to hang out in the chairs outside. It is only a short walk to the beach and a short bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Bike racks in a safe storage area are available for guest use.

Good location, walking distance to the beach. Kids loved the pool.

You know it when you stay at a place the owner loves and cares for — the Doryman is that kind of place. It’s not a new facility — newness they cannot provide. But the owner and staff clearly care about the property and their guests. If you appreciate old-fashioned hospitality, stay here.

Beds were not comfortable but pillow were nice. Could have used more light in the room. Pool was very nice though and rates were good.

I had a great week in dennisport. this place is so close to Sea Street Beach yet it’s in a quiet neighborhood. comfortable, clean room with everything. needed to get my work done. spacious enough room with table and chairs along with speedy wifi. all in all, a perfectly affordable place to stay.

We had an amazing stay here! Very clean, and the owner David is very nice! I will definitely be making a return trip! Very close to restaurants and ice cream shops, walking distance, and a short walk to the beach!

i loved the proximity to wonderful Sea St Beach, the rooms were spacious and clean, The staff was professional and curious and they had great coffee in the morning in the lobby.

If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it, but if you want a basic room with a kitchenette and no frills and within walking distance of the beach, this will do. It was clean. Dated rooms and furniture although there were some upgrades in the bathroom (but no exhaust fan. There was a window to open). The shower was great, good water pressure, and hot water was quick to come. Some toiletries provided. Bath towels were on the small side and there were exactly enough for the three of us. We did not opt for daily housekeeping as we believe that's wasteful but we could have asked for more towels if we wanted them. The beds (two full size) were firm, but surprisingly comfortable for not having a pillow top. The bedding was old/worn, pillows OK. Good-sized fridge, and there was a sink, stove top, toaster, coffee maker and dishes, pots, utensils, ice bucket, etc., but no microwave, and there was a table with four chairs in the kitchenette. Ice machine near room #10 wasn't working. A/C was good. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked great. Outside shower. There were two gas grills outside the office if you want to grill. There were plenty of lawn chairs, and tables outside for sitting outside. Smoking area is at the pool fence, away from the rooms. Dave at the front desk was extremely friendly and gracious to stay later to check us in (they usually close the desk at 8 p.m.) Lots of area info available as well as snacks and coffee (which he said is better than Dunks, lol).

Very nice place to stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Always available to help and answer questions for places to eat. The rooms and pool were very clean. Close walk to the beach and many restaurants.

Very clean 70s motel with helpful friendly, on site owner. Short walk to Sea Street beach a plus as parking at beach is $30.

Overall had an amazing experience at this quaint little motel. In addition to a great location, the rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great location. Big rooms with full size fridge was nice. Beds are a little uncomfortable.

Seasonal motel was just okay. A lot of weird people stay here. I don't think they want families. Loud argument next door at 1:00 am was not cool. Like the full size fridge. Overall clean and convenient to the beach.

I would definitely stay here again. Within a 3 minute walk to a small beach. Pool is a great plus too. The kitchenette in the rooms are large and plenty of space. Only downside is no dogs allowed.

Motel was conveniently located to beaches and restaurants and other amenities.The owner was very friendly and helpful.My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Doryman.

All was great, but as a “health nut” would have preferred the smoking area not be my view. The owners went out of their way to accommodate me and very much appreciated it. Stay at the Doryman, you’ll love it!!!!! Pool was crystal clear.
