Such a treat

A wonderful place to stay. Close to great eating. Sit on the front porch under the live Oaks and sip your coffee and you cannot help to have a great day.

David was a wonderful host. The cleanest place I’ve stayed in. High quality towels and sheets. Very serene and peaceful. Like coming home to grandmas. Jesse’s restaurant 2 blocks down, was superb but make reservation online. My only negative was the bed was too firm for me and you are unable to control temperature so I was a bit hot. Overall, a unique experience and we’d like to return.

Magnolia Springs B&B is a wonderful place. Located on a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood and situated within easy driving to Fairhope, Foley, and Gulf Shores. Very welcoming from the outside. Very well maintained and rustic. The house was decorated for the holidays and was beautiful. You can tell the owners are very proud of their home. The owners were great. Met us at arrival, showed us our room, helped with our luggage and took the time to show us the house and explain areas available to us. Room was beautiful and quiet. There was everything we could need in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Started with a fruit course made with fresh fruit. The entire meal was healthy and filling. David takes great pride in making an excellent meal. The B&B has its own app for download. It provides information about the B&B, check in and check out procedures, and information and links to local cities and towns.

We had a great stay. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable.

What a great stay! Location is fabulous. Neighborhood is very walkable. Our host David was very personable. They have a fantastic app that is super user-friendly for the area. Breakfast was delicious and my husband raved about the coffee. Room was super comfortable. Would definitely go back.

This place is fantastic. My wife and I were planning to stay in Gulf Shores, but the hotel rates were way too high. We found Magnolia Springs B&B. A little off the beaten path, but easy to find. A half hour drive from the beach. The owners are great people. They serve an awesome breakfast. Everything is very organized and clean. The scenery is tremendous. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

If you have a chance to stay here, DO! It was all absolutely gorgeous, David & Eric went above and beyond and it really felt like a little slice of home away from home. Plus breakfast every morning was better than any restaurant and the surrounding area was so scenic.

Very beautiful, quaint historic home. David was a great host--so friendly and inviting. Convient 25 minute drive to the beach in a better (see: cute, oak covered, charming southern small town) neighborhood than you could get of you were closer. Definitely planning on coming back.

David was an excellent host. Upon arrival, he showed us around the home- explaining which areas were common spaces, where drinks and snacks were located that we could get at anytime for no extra charge, the history of the house, how to access to house from the outside and into our room (it was keyless entry). After that, we saw him as needed. The local restaurant he recommended (Jesse’s) was amazing. His breakfasts were delicious- starting with a light fruit each time then moving to a heavier protein and starch. So filling and yummy! The house was beautifully situated on Oak Street which was lined with old live oak trees and quiet and less busy than the main town thoroughfare so you could walk down it if you wished. We walked some each day we were there down the street and to the river. Additionally, it was only a 25 minute drive (it would have been much less if we wouldn’t have lounged on the porch so long and gotten ahead of traffic) for us to get to the beach and we borrowed beach towels and chairs which we’d forgotten. I highly recommend the B and B. We will visit again if in the area.

Absolutely perfect place if you looking to indulge in serenity and southern style afternoons at the veranda. The time stops at the Magnolia Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful, well restored and meticulous kept, old, historic house with great , comfortable suits. Kitchen equipped with snacks and soft drinks during the day. However the breakfast is a treat!!! Under any circumstances do not skip on that. The host prepares and serves three course gourmet meal for you at the morning. He uses his own versions of the traditional recipes with the calorie conscious substitutions and novelty tweaks for originality. Both hosts are great making sure that their guests are happy and satisfied. If you looking for the comfort and tranquility that’s the place!
