Secure and well kept Motel, great pool!

Do not stay here on a Friday night. The motel units share a wall with the beer garden which has very loud karaoke until midnight on Friday that sounds like it is inside your room. Their website now has a warning about it but there is nothing on wotif. The rooms were renovated inside but everything else about it was pretty poor.

This would have to be one of the worst accommodation experiences that I have ever had. Trying to access the property is a nightmare, despite the sign at reception saying that it was manned from 7am to 7pm, this became the first of many untruths about the property. At 5pm trying to access the property involved putting in a code to a keypad on a lock box - a couple of issues here, most of the numbers worn off the key pad, torrential tropical storm, getting drenched and the code didn't work. Next issue, accessing the car park, still bucketing down, and having to get out of the car to input a code into another key pad. The room had the worst bathroom I have ever experienced, $175 for a night and would struggle to be 1 star. How about this paid for breakfast with the booking, info in the room stated that the Coffee Club next door was the place to get breakfast, but no, according to the Coffee Club manager they stopped providing breakfast for hotel guests over 12 months ago DON'T STAY AT THIS "RIP-OFF" ESTABLISHMENT.

Very clean and modern looking. Large room well set out

a great spot to stay for the sightseeing and cultural opportunities close by. Close to shops and services and various eating options nearby.

A very basic motel in centre of Katherine, with poor signage (couldn’t find entry on first arrival). Room ok & clean, tho bathroom in need of modernisation. Could hear neighbours through (locked) interconnecting door. Not a pleasant looking motel to stay in. Breakfast was included, but now provided offsite at another motel, so didn’t partake of it. Not a comfortable place to stay, felt unsafe, & didn’t linger in the room any longer than we had to.

There was no staff on arrival only saw a person making up room after people left. I stayed two nights and the room was made up.

Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice and well serviced rooms. Breakfast off-site was very good. The noise spilling out of the Karaoke session is a "bit much" though but finished at 4pm

Comfortable rooms and excellent staff

Works sometimes but can be difficult at other times. Room has most convinces, air con works great. Room cleaned daily, great restaurant on site for diner, huge meals. Hotel bar area around lunchtime no go as locals use.

Nice pool but old, worn out, and quite dirty rooms. We never met any management.

Love the pool area, breakfast at the Coffee club and location

Chris was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable, the room was modern and clean, and the premises felt secure. The inclusion of breakfast at the adjoining Coffee Club was a great bonus.

This motel in the centre of Katherine has small rooms but with the amenities we look for. Comfortable beds, efficient air-con, block-out blinds, desk and chair, fast wifi with secure connection, a very cool frig, kettle and a kitchen bench with microwave, plates, cups and eating utensils. It would be even better if management had been able to put a sink in this bench, instead of washing up in a bathroom sink with no plug. Apart from no plug, the bathroom was clean, functional, with a walk-in shower and a clothes drying rail in the shower. Breakfast, included in the tariff, is served in the coffee shop next door. So good that we returned to the coffee shop for lunch. Dinner, Australian pub food, is available in the Stuart Hotel, adjacent to the motel. At check-in the proprietor reminded me that Friday night is Karaoke. This is advertised on the hotel web-site as very noisy, starting and ending late. He advised earplugs. He was correct about the Karaoke noise! We slept but other guests did not. The following night all was quiet, no noise from traffic or passers-by. If you are a light sleeper, check the web-site and avoid this motel on Karaoke nights.

Reasonable very clean rooms in the centre of town, great value with breakfast included. Great pool area. Rooms being refurbed... looking good but incomplete.

Staff were friendly however quite noisy - ie difficult to sleep.

Overall was ok however very difficult to sleep with the amount of noise outside - from the hotel and also from people outside the room.
