Check in poor. Couldn't drop off a case early. Had to fill complicated online form at the last minute to get room number and access code. Non attended reception. When got the code it didn't work. Took 35 minutes to check in. Room good though, modern and well located

There is no reception, you use a code to access the building and your room.

I booked this place long before staying when Covid was bad so having a contactless check in seemed ok. It i sn’t. There is no one to deal with any problems and their attitude is poor when they show up the next day. On arrival you are greeted by a pitch black corridor with no lights on until you enter it. There could be someone in it waiting but you can’t see at all. The room was hot when we arrived in the afternoon and the air conditioner was off. We turned it on but the air conditioner was very weak and unable to cool the room. Their response was you can set the thermostat to whatever you want and it blows cool air if you stand under it so what’s your problem. It just couldn’t cool the relatively large room. We had to open the window to cool the place down at around 11 PM after being tired of sweating and calling them. The tv didn’t work properly either but I didn’t even attempt to deal with them on that. After one night we just left and went elsewhere.

The Bergamo Inn 43 is in a great location, the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the space very clean. There were a few growth areas to note: - the pre-check-in took a few tries as the system required an Italian tax id# which I don't possess -we only received refills on our coffee capsules one of out of two days -we ran out of toilet paper the last day - we thought reception was supposed to be onsite but we never saw anyone (had a couple of questions) -we couldn't leave our bags at the hotel while we explored before our departure flight (no one to ask about this because the staff wasn't available over the weekend to respond to questions onsite or via telephone/email

Checkin is a real issue.The link they send doesn't work, you have to call, receive another link, complete a lot of information, finally you recive the access code that doesn't work, call again....So, my vacation time remain shorter.

Good stay, very high tech accommodation. Located in the center of a beautiful city that you can explore by foot.

just great, as usual. Walking distance from the old city, quiet, spacious, clean... what else ? Ah yes, excellent breakfast just down the stairs, on the right upon leaving !

Nice room, quiet and clean in the center of Bergamo. Staff was kind and quick. Very close to train station and airport shuttles .

Location was a little hard to get to as they had very little parking, so we found a garage 2 blocks away and walked. Luckily it was beautiful weather ( no rain ) Hotel itself is fabulous and the restaurant beneath it was excellent

You would never know it was there but once inside it is the epitome of class. Everything was spotless and high tech and the reception, while simple, was extremely friendly and spoke excellent english. Late check in process was a breeze too. Will definitely return if I am ever nearby again!

Room is clean and big. BUT / airconditioning cannot be set OFF, so you gotta sleep with constant hummimg sound, window cannot be fully curtained so a lot of light from outside, in shower you dont have anything to put your soap and shampoo while showering. slippers would be nice.
