Our stay was excellent and would certainly look to stay again. The facilities were very clean and their presentation really good. The breakfast was well presented and the host very pleasant.There is only one point where in pour opinion and improvement could be made and that is to filter drinking water as it tasted highly chlorinated.

What a find! A last minute booking that didn’t disappoint. Perry was the perfect host and her breakfast was amazing. Super clean accommodation and sumptuous bedding, and all the toiletries you would need at hand in the bathroom. Brilliant

Stayed one night for Southwell races, hotel ideally situated between Nottingham and Southwell Racecourse. When booking into a new hotel, b & b, the most important thing is the welcome you get. Perry the owner was very friendly and made me and my partner very welcome. The room was very nice and clean with a large shower room. Breakfast was very good and there is a good public house ( Magna Carta) 15 mins walk away if you fancy a drink your a meal.

Having made the owners aware I had covid and was very unwell, my daughter was coming to stay instead before graduation the next day. She made a 3 hour journey, road closures and diversions meant she was going to arrive after the 9pm ‘deadline’ despite keeping contact at 9.40 and arriving at 9.50 they would not let her in. The owners needed their sleep. Very inflexible and quite rude in the way we were spoken to.

We had a love welcome upon arrival and shown to our room which was off a very nice courtyard. The room was nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. Cooked breakfast was served at the time we requested. We would recommend this b&b and would stay again if back in the area.

This is a beautiful little B&B that has been developed with a great deal of thought and care. We wanted for nothing - the bed was SO comfy, the towels fluffy, toiletries were supplied in the bathroom, and there were even complimentary snacks.
Our host, Paul, was absolutely charming and we really enjoyed chatting with him over the gorgeous full English breakfast that he cooked for us the next morning.
It was a pleasure staying here and we look forward to the next time.

We have stayed here before and we know it is a lovely place. You always receive a warm welcome, the rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Perry, the owner, has thought of everything, there is even a microwave and some plates and cutlery in case you bring a takeaway back. The breakfasts are delicious and served in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the courtyard. It’s well worth staying at Gonalston Boutique B&B.

Fantastic host, amazing breakfast cooked fresh to order, a huge comfortable bed, crisp cotton sheets, choice of pillows including 2 large, luxurious feather pillows each, fresh clean towels, bottled water, microwave, snacks, we really couldn't have wished for more, though I am sure if we had needed anything else if we'd asked, we'd have got it!. Perry is friendly and outgoing with a great sense of humour and gave us suggestions of places to visit.

Extremely clean and comfortable room. Wonderful bedding and towels etc.The owner was most helpful and friendly and there to greet us on arrival. Good free car parking in front of the property.
The B and B was perfect for us as we were attending a family wedding being held nearby. Lovely walks possible from the hotel.
The only reason I deducted one star was because I think that the courtyard would have been nicer planted with natural grass and plants rather than artificial astro turf. A garden or room with a view of the countryside from the hotel would be nice for guests spending more time in the hotel.

I loved this stay. The Farmhouse and courtyard are beautiful. The rooms were modern clean and comfortable.

Perry could not have been more accommodating, the roooms we rented were absolutely perfect. They were clean, tidy and well equipped with tea and coffee, coke, water, mint chocolates which was a lovely surprise, bisuits and crisps. The breakfast Perry provided was absolutely wonderful, i could not recommend staying here enough

It was great & Perry was really kind & attentive. The breakfast was ace. Very clean room & big bed! The only criticism I have is the big shower didn’t work in the room so we used the smaller one.
