Room was immaculate. The building is dated but recently remodeled. Upstairs floors creak, some noise from doors, but acceptable. Nice staff. I'd stay there again,

The rooms were clean. This is the good news.
However, management did not pay any attention to what was booked and could have put my team members in danger.
Four rooms were booked. Two of my team members were given keys to rooms where there were people inside. They went inside the rooms and saw the rooms were occupied. Thankfully, they were able to leave the rooms without any altercation.
Also, all four rooms that were booked were king bed suites. The two rooms where my team members walked in on others were double queens.
The hotel is convenient to where they work. However, two of my team members were not happy when given keys to occupied QQ rooms before receiving their appropriate booking.
We are going to spend more money and stay elsewhere the next time we work in Independence, VA.

The new owner in my opinion is not very nice. He is judgemental!

The side door to the hotel you do not have to use you key card ( unsafe) the grounds have beer bottles that seem to never get cleaned up.

The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful! We felt so welcomed and cared for. The room was spotless, and the king bed was the most comfortable of the last 4 places weve stayed on this roadtrip. Breakfast was nice, if basic...bagels, muffins, cereal, ceral bars and yoghurt, with lots of coffee and juice. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and higjly recommend it!!!

Great stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable. The only thing lacking is breakfast- but they do have bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, and OJ if that works for you. It was a nice place with a great rate so I wouldn’t let the level of breakfast stop me from staying there though!

Very nice stay! The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is in great condition. No carpeting in the rooms which I think is great. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Two negatives include no elevator in case you have problems with stairs and no hot food fir breakfast other than coffee. That is actually fine for me but does not suit my husband.

Waited for soneobe to cone to desk for 10 minutes but she was very nice. Check in quick after that. Served our purpose as half way mark on our trip.
