I enjoyed the ambience and the bed was very comfortable for me. The breakfast was very good. Property was undergoing some renovations. There were some loud guests outside past midnight. The church bells behind the hotel start ringing about 8am.

Enjoyable

Excellent inn traditional style with extra accommodation buildings in the same street close by. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and large, decor smart. It was very hot weather and could really have used AC but a rather noisy fan was available which did help. Food and drinks were great. The architecture and layout of the inn has external seating areas so our meal was al fresco but there are huge rooms inside as an alternative. A varied European style Breakfast was included and the staff cooked up fresh scrambled eggs as well. Overall this is a great place to stay with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay! Great room, very clean, had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was very good. We ate at the restaurant and it was wonderful, especially the desserts. Will definitely stay here again.

While my wife and I were here we felt all of our stress go away. Excellent free breakfast! We will definitely come back.

We had a nice stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was nice and got us off to a good start.

This property was in a nice location for what our plans were. Staff were friendly and helped anytime we needed something. Very clean. Room was tight (kind of crowded), but we only used to room for sleeping.

Have stayed here several times while in Germany for work - staff is wonderful, the restaurant is excellent, and the rooms are always clean. Love this hotel - will definitely be back!

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Lovely staff and a feeling of comfort and safety difficult to find these days. Just an awesome experience.

Breakfast was awesome every morning! Quiet place to stay! Very lovely! Make you time your trip to arrive before 10 pm! Otherwise the front desk is closed and you will not be able the check in. We did have a problem checking out. We booked and prepaid with Expedia and the system would not let us check out. They wanted another CC payment! We booked 7 months in advance and in that time the systems changed. It was a glitch in the system on their end and they ultimately let us go.

My stay was awesome! You enter through the restaurant, lol! Definitely a German hotel. It was great! Food was reasonable and delicious. No elevator and lower numbers are higher up. I was give a regular key for the door. Room was very clean, had a microwave, fridge and a fan. Didn't notice the fan until the the next day. Haha! Bathroom was modern. Will definitely stay here again. About a 25 euro taxi ride into Kaiserslautern. 4 minutes from Seehotel.

Perfect for our first day in DE, comfortable, quant, friendly and charming! We would stay here again.

This hotel was superb, it had great decorations a real German country feel. The inner courtyard had a mature grapevine and water fountain plus lots of flowers. The food was exceptional especially the included breakfast buffet. Very clean and the staff was super. Be careful arriving late as the front desk is not 24/7. Next time I'll bring my own pillow but still it is 5 stars! Be sure to hike up to the castle ruins behind the hotel.

love eating at the resturant and our room had a kitchen and livingroom it was really nice to have when you are staying for a week. the breakfast was really great that came with the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. We had two different rooms. The beds in the first room were much more comfortable. Breakfast was great!

I stayed for business and right away I was a little disappointed that the bathroom didn't match the pictures. It was covered in small tiles, like you would find in a locker room. I would recommend shower shoes here. Additionally, the sink was a little dirty and the toiletries were really lacking - more like what you buy at a story for your home, rather than a professional setting. While the bed was a little stiff and only had one medium-sized thick sheet, I slept ok. The parking was about 100 meters away and was free, with plenty of space. It was quite and the staff was among the friendliest I have seen. Its in a small town that is away from the main hub of things to do/places to go. Overall, the room was clean but small. Its best to think of this as a restaurant that happens to have some offsite rooms in case you cant drive home. I liked the people that worked there but I personally wouldnt stay again.
