Beautiful and comfortable. Only downside for us was the stairs climbing to the hotel door and no stairs to our top floor room. We ]were going on a lengthy cruise and several suitcases and medical equipment. No elevator 😳😱

Very charming, beautiful home. Breakfast was wonderful. Host was polite and helpful.

Cool place in a cool place.

Wonderful welcome and service in this eclectic property. Good location with many restaurants near by. Bathrooms modern and clean. Nice breakfast with eggs made to order.

Anyone tired of predictable accommodations in standard hotels will enjoy a taste of former grandeur at Chateau du Fauburgh Quebec City where the pace is leisurely and the service quietly understated.

Fantastic historic mansion, ornately decorated in period furniture and furnishings. Like stepping back into the Gilded Age. That alone would make the stay remarkable. The room was comfortable and spacious, with in room coffee and fridge in addition to the provided breakfast. 3 fights of stairs so pack accordingly. Parking was 5 blocks away but safe and secure.

Beautiful furnishings and exceptional service. Phillip was wonderful and helpful

A unique and very beautiful stay. We stayed in the master suite. It was like staying in a Fairytale Palace. All the rooms are decorated like a Château Palce in France. Very nice! Breakfast was Great! Staff helpful! Amazing Experience we will Not soon Forget!

It felt like we were staying in a museum! Very nice!

Amazing property! Feels like staying in an estate 100 years old. Great breakfast. Parking is offsite and requires steep hill/stairs walking but an advantage to have in such centerlize locaion. Can walk anywhere downtown and old town distance. We got the "romantic" room which was a bit small even for a couple, and the low ceiling "attic" style is nice but can be a disadvantage. I would highly recommend and stay again but will choose a bigger room.

Amazing old house with so much decor

A wonderful character property easily walkable into the old city.

Very nice room with a terrific breakfast. We requested the parking option, and left our car in a secure location for 3 days while we walked everywhere.

Very well located, good breakfast, stairs to get in and stairs to every floor(3 floors) not for people with limited mobility.
Parking is at 0,75 km

This property is amazing! It is very unique and everything is in style of the house. Although it is in the city, it is very quiet. Breakfast was ok. There were several choices of cereal, but no milk. Lots of variety in jams and croissants. If you want eggs or toast they prepare it freshly for you.

Our stay was great! The hosts were wonderful and it was such a unique accommodation. There were only a couple of issues which were more frustrations to manage more than anything. Be warned, there are a lot of stairs to navigate, no elevator. If you have heavy luggage or not able to do stairs, please consider this. Also, the ceilings in our room (Romantic Room) made much of the space unusable. They were sloped and we were constantly bumping our heads.

Splendid suite with great comfort.

It was such a privilege to stay in such an historic home!
SO many antiques!
I have a bad knee, so the stairs were a little difficult, but we really enjoyed our elegant room on the top floor.
The bathroom was new and sparkling clean!
It was lovely to have breakfast in a formal dining room.
We were not thrilled with how far we had to walk to park the car, but we found a wonderful restaurant on the way back and had a great dinner and yummy drinks at Le Bonnet d'Ane.

Very strict on checkin time. No earlier. Bathtub not so clean. The room was dated (alot of objects in the room) take out the "things" and we could move around more freely. A tour of the house and history would have been nice. Breakfast great but put the coffee out and not waste 1 cup on me añone. The table outside was broken and the chairs chained. Was not told about the outside upstairs porch which I found on my own. Overall it was beautiful but the history would have been nice

Bery nice breakfast service. Very steep stairs and some exterior under repair - inevitable with 100 year old building. A good location for experiencing the city.

Extremely elegant and beautiful without being fussy. A lot going on in neighborhood on weekends but very quiet and serene in chateau. Very well kept rooms and breakfast was very nice.

Wonderful property with an abundance of Victoria furniture and artwork! The beds were comfortable and the room cozy. Location is right on Rue Saint Jean which leads right down into D'Youville neighborhood. Phillipe was a wonderful host making us breakfast each morning and helping us with parking our car. There is a private garage with several spaces just for the B&B about 5 minutes walk away.

Lovely bed and breakfast with very interesting decor. Breakfast included croissants, cheese, fruit/nut bread, cereal bar, yogurt cups, and made-to-order eggs and toast. My spouse particularly enjoyed the rainfall shower in the bathroom. We did hear sounds of music late at night, but a constant sound of some type of airflow produced a white noise effect that helped dampen the music noise to allow for sleep. We hope to stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and located in a perfect spot close to old Quebec. The service is excellent. Would recommend 10/10

We stayed 5 nights and it was wonderful. Located on Rue St. Jean and about a 10-15 minute walk outside of the Saint Jean Gate and the Old Town, the location is superb. The experience is like staying in a castle - it’s beautiful! So many wonderful restaurants, pubs and shops. Grocery store, wine shop, everything you need right there. In the St Jean Baptiste area and walkable to St. Roch and Montcalm neighbourhoods. Philippe, our host couldn’t have been more helpful and charming. Close to everything you want to do and see, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. A true experience in a beautiful city. Would definitely recommend m.

Lovely small B&B in a quiet Quebec airport with lots of dining options and bookstores. Our room was under the eves and plugging in my 3 items every night (hearing aids, iPhone and iPad was challenging. Breakfast was outstanding. We had a lovely sitting area outside the room. Quebec seems a lovely, friendly, walk able, safe city.
