Chuck was extremely helpful about the area, and kind

Great hotel in the heart of Clarksdale. Bar on the first floor with a selection of draft beer. No TV or coffee in the room, but both available in the kitchen downstairs. Funky place, in a good way.

Awesome place, hope to go back.No tv, but didn’t miss it. Nice classy hotel concept right in the middle of the Clarksdale, MS blues and food scene.

Great place to stay when you are in Clarksdale.

Travelers Hotel in Clarksdale is an amazing place. The rooms have so much character and are spotless. The community area on the first floor is like visiting someone's home. We arrived around 5pm and guests were enjoying Happy Hour - instead of that uncomfortable 'new kid' feeling, it felt more like entering 'Cheers' - everyone was so welcoming and warm. Fabulous bathroom (Malin + Goetz products - yeah!). Best night of sleep yet on this trip - pillows, bed, linens all added to the good rest. The location is perfect for visiting blues clubs in Clarksdale. Highly recommend -- Can't wait to return!

While there are no refrigerators, microwaves, or TVs in the rooms, the hotel offers a full community kitchen in the spacious lobby area, along with a self-serve beer bar. Everything operates on an honor system, where guests leave notes with what they took or drank, which is then charged to their room. The experience was great. The staff running the place were super friendly, and the overall feel of the hotel was very charming and unique.

We have used several hotels on our road trip but Travelers is the stand out. By a long way it wins on style, central position, cleanliness and soo helpful staff.

A unique concept for this hotel. I would equate it with a Vrbo plan with a code given in advance for a keyless entry and a person at the front desk for a limited time (we were only there for one evening and saw an attendant for about two hours). Nice lobby with a self-serve bar and a community kitchen that is well supplied. Amazing art work in hallways. Since there are no elevators, I would recommend a first floor room if stairs are an issue. Rooms are minimalistic with high ceilings, concrete floors, and no tv. This new concept is worthwhile trying if it meets your needs. Short walk to blues museum and blues clubs.

Great location, close to Delta Blues Museum and other sites in Clarksdale, very friendly people, friendly town. The hotel itself is unique and the building has an interesting history.

Our stay was magnificent. Booking things from thousands of miles away is always a roll of the dice. So when we arrived we were blown away with how cool this place is. We like this minimalistic industrial style of hotel which allows you more control of your room and your stay. The common downstairs was inviting and makes it easy to be alone or strike up conversation with travelers.
The neighborhood around The Travelers is probably going to be subjective, but we found it so interesting. It's both active and empty. The patina ranges from arty to anarchic.
It will be a place we talk about when friends ask us about our trip.

This hotel is targeted to a specific market. If you’re a tech-oriented, limited interaction person who likes a ‘hipster’ jibe, then you might really like this place. I was texted access codes and arrived and departed what felt like an empty hotel. The owner was there briefly in the afternoon, but that was it. Some old fruit was in a bowl downstairs and there was a really good high-tech self-brew coffee machine. The area around the hotel looks REALLY sketchy, although I didn’t have any problems. Since I was there on a Monday night, almost nothing was open and the whole town felt desolate. The hotel was clean and impeccably kept, but it just wasn’t a good fit with what I look for in a hotel.

I had the place to myself with absolutely crazy trusting owners. The whole establishment is pristine and I'm planning to visit their other place in New Orleans

The Traveler’s Hotel is quite unique. In a region littered with very average, ‘old school’ 20th century motels, it stands out as a very cool place to stay, in what seems to be a renovated, historic commercial warehouse (you would normally find this style of accomodation in a newly gentrified area of somewhere like NYC). Mine host Anne is lovely and full of excellent advice on how to get the most out of your stay in Clarksdale. This will, of course, be assisted by the fact that it is in such a central location with all the major clubs and restaurants all within east walking distance. We would advise anyone intending to visit to look no further and definitely book your accommodation at this property👍

The room was okay. The shower was amazing!! Loved the shower. The heater in my room didn’t work and I swear i was breathing in dust or particles circulating in the air.

What a delight! We love quirky cool hotels & this one wins! Super welcome hosts. Would say I love their lobby except the word “lobby” does not do it justice. More like walking into somebody’s super cool living room decorated with mid-century modern & all kinds of eclectic furnishings (including great art). Great vibe! They gutted & renovated an old historic building. Walking distance to pretty much everything you’d want to do in Downtown Clarksdale. Hotel has a bar & a beautiful kitchen stocked with great coffee! Would

Hotel was very unique, but had I noticed there was no TV
would have stayed elsewhere

Eclectic. All you need without the trappings - no tv, sparse Provençal with high end necessities, free parking beside hotel, 24/7 Open bar and kitchen, left to the honesty of guests. Perfect location to visit all of historic Clarksdale - the amazingly low cost only icing on the cake. Most delighted, delighted meeting international travelers of all ages. We’ll go back for sure.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. The interior design at its best. Friendly atmosphere, clean rooms and very good location. Every music venue is within a short walk.
Would recommend to everybody who stays in Clarkdale and prefers to ditch a car in the evening.

Fantastic interiorism and very friendly staff. Best option to stay in Clarksdale for a couple of nights listening to good blues music. Very close to all main live music bars and restaurants.

Honest, it was great. The accommodations appeared to me to be brand new or just renovated. Extremely clean. Room great. Slept great. Temperature great. Met some people in the lobby I doubt I would have achieved elsewhere. Location is ideal for attractions. Walked where I wanted to go. Parking simple. Capuchino/Latte machine in lobby with other beverages available. It's plush.
