Self service motel, no staff on site. No problems with checking in. There were stains (blood?) on the sheets and pillow covers. A dead roach in the bathroom appeared on the second day? The TV remote didn't have the battery cover. Other than that, it was okay.

The room was very clean, good price. Very comfortable beds. Need to replace bath linens and provide more for a room that sleeps 4 and another chair for the same reason.

Great, little place! An 8 iron from the beach. The place had recently been fully remodeled; nice floors and countertops. There was a slight issue with the internet one evening. I had a good phone signal, so it wasn't a real big deal. I would stay here, again.

Small motel with no staff on duty, but the staff isn't necessary as check-in and out is done via text and phone. The rooms are small, well maintained, and clean. The bed is comfortable. It's a nice basic room and a reasonable price.

This room was nice and clean but it was much smaller than the the picture on the website and it didn't have a stove, full kitchen, and small refrigerator, small microwave, and it smelled like smoke. Always remember what ever you advertise to a customer suppose to be specifically like the picture and no couch was their, if I would have had other guests to hang out with it would've been disappointing.

PROS: Easy access to the beach. Close to stores, attractions, and event venues. Responsive property management. Super comfortable bed. Sekf check-in/out. CONS: Super loud A/C unit made it difficult to sleep. The bed saved me. Very old, thin, rough, dingy towels. Definitely bring your own. TV kept dropping streaming service. Would take 10-15 to reconnect each time.

It was like going back 70 years to those mom & pop, one room Dew-Drop-Inn places. Noisy window air conditioner (at least it worked); no staff on premises (I did know that in advance) One car length and a sidewalk from the door to the street. Looked cheap, is cheap. Admittingly, I got it for the one night because of that but I have stayed in Motel 6's that are better than this in similar locales. I wasn't staying there for the beach, so in retrospect, I would have fared better out on an I-95 motel. Learned my lesson

The room was hidden in the back of the property and I was not comfortable accessing it. There was not a chair in the room and the floor was dirty. The bed cover was either a sheet or a one inch thick comforter. My choice to freeze or sweat. I will not use the property again.

Loved my room at Atlantic Shores. Nice little kitchenette, comfy bed, huge shower, big flat screen tv. Nice safe area of Daytona Beach Shores. Would love to stay again.

BF and I walked in and were hit with a very strong scent of bleach!! Good sign because that meant it was clean. Unfortunately the smell never left the room for all 2days.
Air conditioner was so loud I had to cover my head with a sweatshirt to sleep!
Only 1 towel/facecloth apiece for a 2 night stay!
The BED!!! This was the worst!!! I don’t even know what the bed was made from! Maybe a queen box spring and king size soft mattress topper? It was terrible!

We stayed here over Memorial Day and enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to return for the 4th of July. We loved the easy check-in process and the fact that the beach was only a short walk away. However, our room this time seemed a lot smaller. We almost hit the bed with the door when we walked in! Also there was some rust on the lampshade, which wasn't a good look. But the bed was very comfortable and everything else was very clean and cutely decorated, so it was a good value for the price.

This is an older motel that has been remodeled. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. The TV didn’t shut off then we figured out the batteries were dead. The housekeeper replaced them quickly. The listing mentioned beach towels, umbrellas, and beach chairs were available but the housekeeper provided only towels and suggested getting the rest from local vendors. Some clothes hangers would have been helpful for those needing them.

the good: clean, recently renovated, awesome location right across the street from the beach, bedside lamp had USB charger built into it
the bad: AC unit kinda had a mildewy smell (not overpowering but noticeable when you walk in), no office to physically check in (have to check for incoming text message from caretaker, can call them though and they are helpful)

This is your basic hotel. You access your room through a lockbox and there is not an office. It is well worth the price. Everything was recently updated and the room was super clean. The bed was also very comfortable.
