We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay, we didn't have any issues and the staff was wonderful.

Check in was on 7/26 and we arrived around 2:50 pm. We reserved the room for 2 nights (7/26, 7/27, check out 7/28). The clerk checked us in, gave us our room keys, and we went up to our room. We chose the Hampton Inn because they are pet friendly. 7/27 we did some sight-seeing around Lenoir and then left later to see the concert that we were in town for. When we arrived back at the room later that night at approx.12 midnight and our room keys would not work to gain access to our room. Outside the door we could here the phone ringing continuously without ceasing. I waited at the door while my husband went down to the lobby to find out what was going on. I could only imagine my seizure prone dog being tormented inside while that phone rang, over and over again. After about a 1/2 hour, my husband returned with a manager who let us in, telling me that she had entered the room earlier. Apparently the mgr on duty when we checked in had not checked us in properly and they said we were not even supposed to be there. They were in the process of giving our room to another couple. I said little, although I was livid at the fact that they had entered the room after checking us in, seeing our belongings in the room, and rather than calling our number on the reservation, they incessantly called the room phone after knowing there was a dog in the room (she had visibly seen the dog when entering). We accepted the apology and they took 1 night stay charge from the bill, but then charged us.

Everything i worry about being in a hotel having 2 small kids i had nothing to worry about with this location

We had a great stay! Room was very clean, a/c was nice and cool. Front desk staff was cordial, but not always available. Had to wait for a bit at the desk until someone came. Would stay again!

Very clean, new, quiet and convenient.

I had driven 5 hrs across the state so arriving to find I STILL needed to pay $16 (weird!) was annoying but to then get to my room and neither key to work (4th floor) having to pee so badly from the LONG drive, only to have to go all the way back down with my 3 bags, was more than annoying. Then to sit on the bed and realize my almost $200 room was less comfortable than the $80.00 room I’ve paid at other hotels is too much. I’m saddened I gave so much money.

Place seems to be understaffed so had trouble servicing the rooms sufficiently.

On top of a beautiful facility, each member of the staff was absolutely pleasant to talk with. Most dog friendly hotel I’ve been to as well.

Everytime we go to lenoir this is the place we stay. They are great. It's clean and feels safe. It would have been wonderful if they had ev charging, even if just a destination charger, because all other chargers in lenoir that we found didnt work.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever dealt with!!

I was a little disappointed about this stay. I had reserved a 2 bed room. When I checked in I was asked to switch to a king room to help out with the fact the property over sold issues. I agreed and then when I got the sheets on the pullout were super dirty. We went to breakfast and a lot of food was not restocked. When I got home I saw on my credit card statement I was overcharged by like $149. It took me 3 phones and over. Hour to get it back.

Lets start with there was no one at check in desk for almost 15 minutes. Then at check in I was charged twice. I booked online and told the clerk she charge me again for same room. My first room 207 was completely dirty very unclean. Clearly no homekeeping was in room since it had a tip on dresser with thank you note. The second room was nice, the bed was comfortable and had I got this room first and not charged twice this review would have gone differently.

Always great service. Bathroom was not as clean as I expected ie floor needed swept , hair in shower. But overall a great comfortable stay.

Hotel is beautiful, it's clean, it's new, best hotel we've stayed in for a while. We travel allot for competitions and have to stay at about of hotels, this has been the best. The staff was great, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, smelled good.. I'll definitely stay here again when in Lenoir.

Comfortable, clean room. Excellent stay.

For the most part the hotel was very clean. The room was clean but the bathroom was not. There were several black hairs in the bottom of the tub and on the shower wall. There was also someone’s dried up teeth whitening strips under the stink. Gross!

Property was nice. Reserved and paid for 2 queen beds. Upon arrival only a king bed was available. I showed my confirmation from Expedia for 2 queen beds; the reply was that third party bookings cannot guarantee accommodations !!!

Great hotel & staff! Clean! Great breakfast! Hotel looks newly remodeled! If you're in the area, stay here because your close to Blowing Rock & Boone so its a great location!

NEW AND CLEAN AND QUIET

Not a good experience at all. I'm very disappointed at this Hampton Inn. Normally at others we have stayed in other areas was good but not this one. Asked to be moved because of noisy over the top of us. Felt people was stumping harder than needed to. Our son lives in Lenoir so we visit 4 times a year. We stayed at the Hampton Inn when they first opened but it didn't feel like it did this time. Wasn't a full place with all the rooms filled for sure. But no good reason not to upgrade. The TV didn't have anything good on at all.Breakfast food wasn't like before either. So no we didn't have a nice stay at all sorry to say ....

This hotel was very clean and a pleasure to stay at. I had a issue with my vehicle and the Maintanence Manager was incredibly helpful! He brought out a few tools for me to fix my issue. He was extremely helpful and let me know to call him if I needed anything else. The entire staff was very welcoming! Excellent experience!

The hotel overall was great. However, the bed was had as a rock.

The only issue was the mattresses were very hard and the pillows were so soft that they did not sustain your head unless you used two or three pillows. But the room was clean and comfortable in size.

Beautiful rooms that were comfortable and spotless. Quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. We will likely stay again.
