Highly impressive property - will stay here again the next time I visit Hobart. All the staff were lovely. Only issue I had was that the TV did not have reception and it was the last weekend of the Paris Olympics! The TV also did not have Chromecast. If these were addressed it would’ve been the perfect stay. Close to perfection nonetheless.

This place is great i would highly recomend its so close to everything and a short walk to get the car not too bad parking is $20 a day but worth it for where you are there is a market every Saturday outside the door and a convenince store and chemist with easy walking distance. Very comfortable bed and room is so beautiful

Have stayed at the Moss before and love the location. I missed having the longer bathroom bench from my first visit. If you stay above The Whaler be aware there may be some noise on the weekend from those having a good time and may be better off at the other building instead.

Awesome place to stay in Hobart and very central to everything. I would give 4 and a half stars as the room is just lacking that little bit of wow factor but ultimately there is no complaints. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend Moss to family and friends.

Well located and central to the Salamanca and Waterfront areas with plenty to see and do.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant experience. The room was well appointed and very clean. The only negative comment to make would be the the room was a little dark due to the limited natural light into the room and the darker paint color schemes. Other than that, highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic service and treatment- especially by Sheila who went out of her way to look after us and give us the best room. Rooms were amazing. Loved the charm etc.
The only issue was we didn’t realise the Winter Feast was on (not something we liked) and the music was blaring every night until after midnight… will be sure to check what’s on the dates next time.

We loved the boutique vibe of the hotel with its glimpses of indoor greenery. The rooms were
spacious, ambience and mood lighting of the hotel was very inviting. The cleaners did a brilliant job of the room daily, especially the shower (I’d love their tips and secret on how they keep the shower screens spotless)

The location was brilliant and convenient and although there were some comments and reviews regarding street noise, this wasn’t the case for us. Would definitely stay here again, but not suitable for young kids/families.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable, well appointed. Some noise from Salamanca Place late at night from hooks driving around and early in ams with council workers leaf blowing. If noise will bother you ask for a room at the back.

The pod room 12 we stayed in was tucked away on ground level with dual street access. Although quiet it's a basement room with pipes overhead. Our only fault was the continual noise from showers above which started at midnight through to 6am. No need for an alarm in the mornings. Otherwise perfectly postioned in Salamanca Place with parking at $20 a day
