If you visit St Andrews you hit the lottery if you get the opportunity to stay here. Historic Inn with best location and service. The Pub is best ever. Can’t say enough positive. Cheers

Very good value as perfect location, clean and comfortable.

Bed’s comfortable. Shower room tiny and terrible…couldn’t move in it / absolutely freezing / no where to hang towels to dry. No where to unpack clothes in room.

Fantastic location, especially if you're in town for the golfing experience. Price was incredible for the location and amenities. Super comfortable bed and nicely furnished room/bathroom. The bathroom itself was also quite big! Wifi was extremely quick and easy to connect to. One downside was our shower didn't drain at all really, we had to have low pressure water to avoid flooding the shower, but a staff member told us the showers will be replaced soon so I reckon that issue will go away once that happens

Ideal as room only basis No cooked breakfast and what was on offer is basic. Kettle in room but no tea bags in but plenty of coffee. Expensive for what you get but that is St Andrews. Good night sleep and that’s the main thing

Location is great

Terrifically situated the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We were well looked after. Room was stylishly decorated and the location was terrific.

Everything was ok

Stop using cheap and toxic air freshers - Febreeze which trigger asthma and are heavily scented in linens, pillows, etc. really tired property. Shower Soap dispenser feel apart, carpet stained, flat pillows, toilet and shower dan running continually, no good teas, etc Worst of all was noisy post bar scene alleyway out the window which kept us up for hours.

Good location

Easy to find property,used the code given to enter,found our room at the top,. I wasn’t totally enamoured with the room.,could have done with a refresh,apart from that it was fine,the beds were comfy and everything was clean. I think it could be better in the morning where the cereal bars and porridge was could have done with a kettle rather than having to go back up to your room,and maybe even a cooked breakfast on offer would have been nice

Great stay in centre of St Andrews. We had a wedding in St Andrews at the nearby university buildings which was a 5 minute walk. I messaged ahead and had asked if we could get ready at Cleveden House and they generously said they would have our room ready early. This was much appreciated in so many ways as we had driven almost 2 and half hours to get there. Fabulous room with everything we needed.

I really liked its proximity to The Old Golf Course. The number of quality restaurants in the area was also a plus. I was a little confused about info I found in the hotel summary book. It said there was breakfast daily, but there was nothing anywhere to be found in the hotel! Other than that, it was a good place to stay for a few nights.

Cozy room. TV did not broadcast…only radio. Great location.Fine Location

The room was insanely expensive for what you got. The bathroom was basically a cupboard. Golfers up and down the stairs speaking loudly. No kitchen and no microwave in the room. The tv didnt work well and the wifi was glitchy. Overall just a rip off really.

That was neat, clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Highly recommended it!

Breakfast was advertised. Not sure I would call a few bars and some oatmeal breakfast. Was expecting a little more and some coffee in the breakfast nook as well. However, overall it was a great location for what we needed and was very clean

Stayed for a golf trip. Was in EASY walking distance from the Old Course and downtown areas. One issue with the shower and called the staff who immediately came to check and were able to send a plumber the following day. In the meantime we were given access to the adjacent unoccupied room to use the shower. Although the room was a little small for two people, it was very clean and comfortable. We did not use the room much more than shower and sleep. Cannot stress enough how perfect the location is; close to golf, pubs, restaurants, shops, etc.
