No top sheet on bed, no cups for coffee, stained carpet. Wouldn't stay here again. Overpriced too

I feel the bathrooms sould have a handrail for safety when stepping into bath oe shower.

This was a nice stay for 2 nights. The grounds were clean and tidy and found it to be nice and quiet. We were disappointed that there was no WI FI and the shower head was in desperate need of replacement.

All you need for a short stay, easy access to room with lockbox.Comfortable and clean. Could be simpler to check in and near to everything on main street only a 2 minute stroll. Great price on Wotif too.

Received a text with check in instructions. Very easy with lock key entry. Straight to the room.

Unfortunately the room next to me was occupied by a heavy smoker resulting in my room stinking of cigarette smoke the whole time. I was of the belief there was a strictly No Smoking policy in or near the room.
The walls are very thin so every time the person used the bathroom it was clearly audible.
However, it’s location, cleanliness and layout is great and won’t stop me using the location again.

Check in confusing, wasn't aware that there are two Settlers right together, but different owners. Settlers Hotel is at the back and they send an SMS with room and lock box number.
Would have liked a box of tissues in the room somewhere. Cleaners should leave shower head pointing down and not out the door!

No reception. Caused some confusion at first . Room clean and tidy but instructions for checkin never arrived hence phone calls were required because there were no reception staff at the premises.

Ok for a short time. Thin walls so not good if you have a heavy snorer next door. Self check in and no support staff on site. Dishes etc provided but have to be washed in bathroom sink and no cloth or scourer provided.

There was only one blanket so very cold, only one coffee cup, fridge was turned off at the wall which we didn’t discover until it was too late then the handyman came into our room when I wasn’t dressed - awful experience

The self check-in worked well. Starting to worry a bit though, as didn't get the code until 2 hours before 2pm check-in time. Property was very quiet and suited our needs. The tea towel & cleaning cloth were damp, so presume not replaced from previous occupant or had been used for cleaning the room. Carpets could have been a bit cleaner.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Little things were missing. No lightglobe in side lamp. The outside veranda was dirty. It was very tired and old

We booked a family room and it was two separate rooms with adjoining doors. This was fantastic to have kids and parent separated yet connected to share toiletries.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, if it were warmer we may have been able to try the pool. Way too chilly for us.

Really enjoyed the ease of accessing the property and the cleanliness and location. Only issue was no towels were provided. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our brief overnight stay in York in this abode - very clean, our rooms were available early and check-in/check-out was easy. Maybe abit drafty in winter thru the doors but luckily there's AC heating.
