Very clean and spacious, we have self check-in and easier for those late night arrival flight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host/reception was communicative and explained everything thoroughly. The space was large and the area was quiet, with a supermarket being close by (which we loved). Fridge, toaster, coffee maker, juicer were all included in the apartment. We also really appreciated being able to do laundry here. Overall, our stay was pleasant, reception was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place if you plan on visiting the area.

The stay was fantastic - the communication was brilliant from the beginning and was made to feel very at home. Extremely clean, air conditioning, all the amenities you could need. Close to town - only a 500 meter walk to the harbor. We requested a car park in advance and it was very secure for the entirety of our stay. All in all, an exceptional stay - highly recommend.

Zero complaints. The room was perfect and very clean when we arrived. Kitchen is equipped with every necessity and the bathroom has towels and a hairdryer. The property is only a 10 minute walk to the marina and old town, with a nice walk through the town. The owner, Claudia was absolutely lovely. Not only was she super helpful and easy to communicate with over text but she took time to tell us about noteworthy places to visit and helped us book boat tours through the national park. Can’t recommend enough. Would definitely love to come back some day.

Location is great. Size was perfect for a family. Property manager was very welcoming. Only issue was noise was an issue.

Great place to stay in Faro. A short walk to the old town and close to restaurants. The apartment complex is new clean and well maintained. The apartment was huge and well appointed. Parking on site for a small fee. Claudia was helpful and friendly and communicated well. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved everything about my stay here! Claudia was so accommodating and helpful, there were lovely touches in the apartment such as fresh cookies and Portuguese oranges (the best imo). She was easily contactable and nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness was 10/10! Parking is available for a small fee if needed and also, it’s such a convenient location. Close to everything and so much to do with some real gems close by. Would come back in a heartbeat

Excellent apartment with plenty of room. Modern. Big bathroom. Nice little semi private outdoor patio. Very nice common areas in 2 places; ground floor and 2nd level. Free washer and dryer. Claudia was a fantastic host. Well stocked kitchen ( just neexed a fish drainer and some kitchen towels ). When we return to the Algarve, we will stay at Cardeal for our base! Cannot say enough good things about Cardeal.

Wonderful property with an ideal location to explore the beauty of Faro. The property owner and manager, Ms. Claudia, is a great host and a wonderful person to guide her guests and dish out great recommendations to make their stay and their Faro experience very enjoyable and one of a kind. Excellent stay at Cardeal. Very quick to feel safe and at home with places to see and eat within walking distance! The host, Claudia, could not have been more accommodating. Gave us some very good recommendations for both food and activities. Allowed us a flexible check in and a place to store our bags on check out. We will definitely visit again if ever in Faro!

We booked a one bedroom when we got there we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom it was at least 1000sqf it was beautiful and huge we were there 3 nights downtown faro was 3 min walk every thing is beautiful there we had a car too charged 3.00 a day to park in inside garage very safe Claudia the lady that runs it was fantastic we will be back for sure

Great location for exploring Faro. Old Town, marina and shopping districts all easily walkable as well as the market and the Chapel of Bones.

We had a very large unit that was bright and sunny. It was well equipped for cooking except no oven. The bathroom was very large and beautifully tiled, with a huge shower for two. The heat/ac worked well. There is a decent corner supermarket 100m away. There are several attractions very near and the Oldtown/castle and the pedestrian only area was about a ten minute walk. Be sure to go to Churrasqueira ORecife a block or so away for a wonderful large meal of grilled chicken, rice, fries and salad for a great price. 2 of us shared an order and were stuffed.

Great communication! The host, Claudia was very accommodating. We have been communicating weeks before we arrived. We arrived past midnight and the place was very well lit, safe and quiet. Claudia sent us step by step instructions and photos on how to get in to the apartment. Bakeries, restaurants and groceries are within walking distance. Beds were comfortable and the shower was divine.

We stayed last October for five nights. The Cardeal Suites is one of the nicest apartments we’ve ever booked. It ticks all the boxes - from greeting on arrival to the comfort and cleanliness of the place. I love the concept, based around a courtyard with shared areas outside to sit in the sun. I wish many other places would pay such attention to detail and provide the level of service and quality to guests.

This apartment complex exceeded our expectations. Charming setting, spotless grounds and car park. Modern, exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious apartment thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need supplied. Classic Portuguese architecture on the exterior meets Ikea on in the interior. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Very reasonable priced. Heaps of helpful hints and advice from Claudia.

Claudia made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed to ensure our visit to Faro was enjoyable. Staff are very polite and nice as well.
