Comfortable and spacious room. Excellent gym and spa facilities. Connected to a shopping mall with lots of restaurants. Good location with short distance to both MRT and LRT. Will stay again definitely.

The room is very spacious and everything was well prepared for my baby and my requests were all met. The bathtub didn’t drain well but other than that the room is very comfortable.
The breakfast was amazing and my baby ate a lot! Especially the blueberry bagel was very yummy after toasting it.

A new Marriott hotel in Kaoshiung. Great facilities and fun spa. Breakfast was delicious although the options are mainly catering to the locals.

I had a wonderful stay at Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel. Check-in went smooth and the staff are all really nice and helpful. I got a room on the 30th floor (thank you). But out of the 10 elevators only 4 of them go to the 30th floor. So I had a few times where I was a bit confused and took the wrong elevators before I finally got to my floor. After a few tries you get used to it though, just keep this in mind. The room was huge, clean and really nice. The spa and gym facilities on the 12th floor is must try if you stay at this hotel. I used them every day during my stay. I did not try any of the restaurants so I can not comment on the service and food here. I did have room service a few times, and the food here was great.
There is a shopping mall directly connected to the hotel if you like shopping. There is also a 7/11 on the other side of the street on the back side of the hotel (you can take a shortcut through the shopping mall when it is open). The hotel is also really close to both the red and green lines, so it is easy to get around. There are also taxis on standby outside the main entrance most of the time if you prefer that.

A great hotel at a great location. I was impressed with the services given by the hotel, and it is connected to a big shopping mall and the train station is also very near the Night market. Great hotel in a nice location.

Check-in was fast and the staff was pleasant and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, there are many other choices outside so can always give the breakfast a miss.
The hotel is connected to the mall which is very convenient. The train station is about 7 mins walk from the hotel, and the area was very safe when I walked back from train station to hotel at night.

This is an amazing hotel. Our time was tight so we were not able to take advantage of all the things it offered. The pool area looked awesome. Staff helpful and spoke English. Short walk to mass transit and taxis always waiting outside. Beautiful view from our hotel even though it was overcast while we were there. Breakfast buffet had tons of offerings for both western and Asian tastes.

Clean and new around the block and a high end shopping mall but is situated in an older suburb with an older Kaohsiung city vibe. It is being updated with light rail access hopefully operational by early 2024. Reasonably easy walk to MRT.

Wow we were so blown away by this hotel that we ended up adding another night 😍 it is so beautiful and the amenities are freaking amazing!! Our main intention was to find a hotel with complimentary access to dry steam sauna and spa pool facilities, and this was perfect. We originally thought the saunas were coed (we like to chat while relaxing), but they’re actually separated. But the sauna pools are coed. There’s a large array of spa pools to choose from as well which was really nice! Expedia offered a discount to add breakfast for only $20 for 2 people total (normally around $27 a person!) and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection. Personally since we are in Taiwan, we usually wouldn’t have opted for breakfast but for $20 for 2 people it was a steal. Great views of the city too! Will definitely book this again in the future :)

The surface condition of the road from the nearest metro station to the hotel is not good for suitcases, so it would be kinder to inform the guests about this in advance. For guests coming to Kaohsiung using the HSR, I think it would be better to inform them of the average taxi fare and advise them to take a taxi from the station to the hotel.
