Perfect location, super clean, safe, comfy, and convenient to shopping - hiking - restaurants - taxis - and ferry. Bars downstairs were very lively and loud but once you shut sliders you hear NOTHING - it was the best of both worlds! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wharfside!

Beautiful property right in the heart of St John! Our room had amazing views of the harbor. Property was undergoing serious construction (Feb 2024), so it was noisy at times. Property managers were there any time we needed something. Walking distance to everything. An awesome experience on a gem of an island.

Beautiful views, Adam was everything all the reviews I read said! Sit on the balcony and hear the live music, close your door and total silence.., perfection! We will stay again! Free parking is a needle in a hay stack. I recommend renting a local jeep where you can park at the rental place or just plan to pay.

The Wharfside Hotel is absolutely wonderful. The hotel is so clean, very well maintained and the balcony is a perfect way to start & end every day. The location is perfect. The ferry to and from Red hook St. Thomas is steps away from the hotel. We were greeted immediately by the hotel manager upon arrival. Adam was incredible, he walked us to our room, showed us how to operate everything and gave us great local info. We had complimentary snacks & drinks in our room waiting for us. Rooms are cleaned daily and stocked with all essentials (blowdryer, toiletries, steamer, safe). Beds are comfortable, noise canceling balcony doors and air conditioner was working well. Tons of shopping, restaurants and bars are only steps away. Mongoose junction was a safe 5 min walk. Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay and all the other beaches were a quick taxi; which are easily assessable steps from the hotel. The beaches are so beautiful and everything we ate was delicious. Great stay! Thank you Wharfside staff!

Not handicap accessible! Great location, stairs to climb to rooms! There are no bureau’s in the rooms, so unpacking can be a challenge! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This property is in a very nice location but they were renovating the hotel and they were also building on the ferry at Cruz Bay so wear heard hammering, sanding etc all day, everyday. Even on the weekends. Other complaint is that there was absolutely no room in the room to sit anything. We ended up piling our stuff on the floor all around the bed. And no one would help us with our bags. We needed help. We couldn't get our suit cases up the 3 sets of stairs and the man showing us our room absolutely did not offer to help. He just watched us. And the bathroom sink here is horrid. Not only is it very wide, but it's gritty so dirt, spit from brushing your teeth etc just stick in it. I hated it. The location was the best thing about this hotel. It was easy to get a taxi and convenient to many great restaurants.

So glad that we chose to visit St. John over St. Thomas. Staying at the Wharfside Hotel we were very close to the ferry launch and to the Taxi stand. Did not rent a vehicle but had easy access to the taxis. Or could walk to excellent dining and shopping. Visited multiple beaches and had a wonderful time. The hotel was well maintained and the room was daily maintained for us. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff taken directly to our room and received lots of guidance and suggestions on how to enjoy our stay. Our room had a balcony and even though it was not on the ocean side it was definitely well used by us. We really enjoyed our stay.

An amazing hotel in the perfect location in Cruz Bay. All the best restaurants are within a few minutes walk, as are many shops, bars, and the local market. Super quiet five star rooms with beautiful views. We can’t wait to come back next year. Adam and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location. Many great restaurants all within very easy walking distance. Nice shops. Easy transportation options. Friendly folks around town. Amazing sunsets. Way better than those big resorts, not to mention getting locked up in timeshare prison!

The view from our room of Cruz Bay is exceptional. The room itself is just awesome from the exposed rafters of the high cathedral ceilings to the comfy king bed, and not to mention the bathroom and shower with a view of Cruz bay as well. I'd recommend Wharfside Village for many reasons, from what was mentioned above the staff, Adam and Dawn are always available. The proximity to restaurants, nightlife, beaches (unbelievable), shopping was perfect without needing to rent a jeep. Although renting a jeep is a good idea if you want to explore the rest of the island. We will be back to St. John's and it will be hard not to book the Wharfside

We stayed here for a few nights while we eloped in Virgin Islands, National Park. Our experience couldn’t have been more amazing. This hotel has beautiful views right on Cruz Bay and is walkable to everything in the area. The room had a number of amenities, and when you shut the door, it was peaceful and quiet. Hotel staff were a text away, always super quick to respond, and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I typically like to go and see new places, but this is one where I will definitely return.

Our room was beautiful! We did pay extra for a ocean front and with being on a end unit with the palm trees we did not really get a great view. We did enjoy how quiet and how nice the accommodations were. Adam & Dawn made sure we had their number and felt comfortable texting them with whatever we needed. Location was great with access to all the restaurants and taxis to get to any beach we needed! Also, a 2 minute walk to the ferry! St. John’s was beautiful and definitely will be back to stay at Wharfside

The hotel is fairly new and more modern than most properties in the area. The property manager was not on site but easily contacted and responsive. Cleaned daily and some nice amenities like small fridge, coffe maker' etc. It was quiet and comfortable. Location is excellent! On the water and still downtown Cruz Bay, near shops and restaurants. There are shuttles that take visitors to nearby beaches, and hotel provides beach towels.

Beautiful place, excellently located right above great spots for drinks and food, loved every second of our stay there.

Hotel was clean. Housekeeping staff was on point. Lauren was very helpful with the check in process. Awesome location. Walking distance of EVERYTHING. Cabs, eateries, shopping, groceries were all a 5 minute walk!!! Will definitely come back and highly recommend! 6 out of 5 stars!!!

This room was even better than the pictures showed. The staff was great and they stayed in touch the entire visit. They contacted us as soon as we landed and guided us all the way to get us to the property. Would stay here again and the the location could not be any better. Walking distance to everything in Cruz Bay.

We had a fantastic stay! Dawn and Adam were so helpful and responded to our requests in minutes. Beautiful room and view. Bed was very comfortable.
