Great place, super clean, awsome service from everyone

Overall the experience is great. Only caveat is there are so many mosquitoes near the kicking horse river!

Our stay at Rooms at Riversedge was fantastic. The room was beautiful and impeccably clean. The view even better! Staff communication was very good and there are lots of food options within walking distance. Overall, we had a great experience!

Unexpected how nice the room was. Very nice bedding, if we needed snacks they had them for a resonable cost. Nice outside furniture and so cool that the river is right there. We had low expectations because we didn’t prebook a hotel and were too tired to drive more. The online booking was a breeze-even the hallway was spotless. TY!

Very pricey for what was there

This is great place! This is the 2nd time I have come across where no staff and it is key pad entry! I like the concept. Right on the river. Would stay again!

Very well appointed and modern rooms. Tje bathroom is superb.

The instructions necessary for checking in were accurate but difficult to understand. Having to provide all kinds of information AFTER booking the room but before being provided with the requisite check-in details was annoying and concerning. We had been in areas with nearly zero cell service prior to arrival, AND THEN had to provide lots of information on the fly. This was very inconvenient. Worse still, the entry code only worked on one of the two access doors even though it should have worked for both. ALSO the people in the area made for a sketchy experience. At one point, two people began using our supposedly private patio to make a film. They just walked up, opened the gate, and took over. We also saw some different people walking up to the patio of the room next door, and peering into the room. CREEPY!! The hotel has zero security but definitely needs it. Finally, the air conditioning unit did nothing whatsoever to cool our room. We ended up turning it off and opening the windows. The upshot of that was all kinds of noise from passersby entering and our room. Bottom line: STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES HERE.

Our stay at Rooms at Riveredge was comfortable and convenient but quite expensive. The trains were disruptive due to the noise. The location and Spencer, the owner, were the best though!

We booked this as a quick overnight to break up our drive from Osoyoos to Calgary. The room was immaculate and very well equipped with plenty of thoughtful extra amenities to make the stay even more comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area and even with current road construction, it was easy to access and find parking. We work remotely and after a long drive, we needed to work for a few hours after arrival. The in-room desk area is huge and the chair very comfortable. We suggest that guests grab breakfast (or at least an apple fritter) right next door at the Golden Bakery & Deli and take some time to wander along the Kicking Horse River from your private patio area. Our only complaint is that we didn't realize this amazing little hotel was here on our outbound trip! We look forward to staying here again on our next drive to the Okanagan.

I would 100% choose to stay here again. Everything was perfect down to the wonderful towels and robes slippers and extra amenities that were provided the room was decorated perfectly and clean probably my favorite hotel that I stayed at In Canada this whole trip. The check-in was a little bit confusing because they don’t have a front desk but to reach someone was super easy. All you have to do is call and he will fix anything extremely friendly and very helpful. The little patio and the river right outside is perfect. I wish we stayed a little bit longer to really enjoy the scenes, easy walking distance to some bars restaurants around it’s a very small town so there isn’t much to do, but if you’re just there to relax, it’s perfect . I will definitely be coming back again my family and I booked two rooms and we both enjoyed it so much.

Located on a fast flowing stream with a board walk outside, the room is well presented. Room is a good size, simply but pleasantly decorated.

The room’s view is beautiful to the mountains and the rivers in front. It locates at the downtown of Golden, very convenient. The property’s facilities are all new and comfortable. I definitely will be back.

This is a unique experience. It's a boutique hotel/motel, where booking the room, and all interactions are all done online and through text. That is what is good, but also what can be challenging about this place. No front desk = no people = no answer! It's a beautiful and relaxing spot for your stay. The rooms are spacious, and the heated bathroom floor is so, so nice! The LED color changing - wall mounted - fireplace sets the ambience, while your watching Disney , Netflix, Amazon prime, or regular boring tv channels. The covered outdoor patio is the ultimate hang out spot while you listen to the river cascade a few feet away! Oh, and if you have flowers planted outside your patio, watch and wait for the hummingbirds!! It's a nice touch to offer a cart full of chocolate, Pringles, Cheezies and non alcoholic beverages to the patrons, and at fair prices! The mountain views are stunning, but you have to look past the disarray of the jumbled mess of the yard across the river. At least 4 restaurants are within a short walk from your room right along side the river. 7-11 is also right across the street, if you have the late night munchies. No need to drive anywhere! Here's the downside- Expect that if you have any issues or questions after 9 pm, that they won't be a priority or possibly even answered until after 9 am. Patience young padawan. Stay, or stay not. There is no choice. But stay. You'll likely love it!

I’d give 10 stars if I could. Great location. Single level rooms only. Patio with furniture facing the river. Waterfall shower choices. Pillow choices. Soft sheets. Upscale furnishings. Wall light up fireplace. Snack cart. Thick towels. Bathroom shelf. Hooks. Robes and slippers. Tech gadgets. Modern and new. Easy parking. Riverwalk. Ah!

Wonderful room right on the river, great restaurants and walking trails outside the front door. Clean, modern and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Golden.
