Initially a really nice stay at Agua de Luna, but the hotel is definitely showing signs of wear over time and some questionable design elements.
A few things that irked us for the price:
-All linens had stains or tears on them. From towels to sheets to bathmats. Nothing was clean
-Minibar was never refilled
-Rental bikes were very broken. Gears not shifting, missing handlebars and basically unrideable
-Never skimmed the pool, broken tiles everywhere
- Patio had iguana poop on it daily
- Shower leaked water and didnt drain properly
- Windows needed recaulking; on a rainy day visible water ran into the room!
Our biggest annoyance was its a small hotel and when we booked were told in advance that the hotel was ADULTS ONLY. This was included in the title and in our whatsapp booking. So, we were looking forward to a quiet night, romantic time.
When we arrived supposedly that was no longer the case and had the mispleasure of sharing the pool with two screaming kids constantly. No one from the hotel thought to inform us and honestly probably would have been a dealbreaker given how it impacted our stay.
Hotel offered daily beach towels which was nice though and the staff did try and assist when possible, but this place is getting run down fast. Would not return for the price.

The property is gorgeous and very peaceful. I love that it is within walking distance to almost everything. Definitely have to try the tacos near the park in that street after 6 pm. They’re the best. The locals are amazing and friendly. I loved the jacuzzi and the way the bedrooms looked

The hotel was amazing. So beautiful and in a great location. We used the roof top hot tub, but it was not very hot at all. We loved staying here!

It was located off the Main Street which was great at night Nice and quiet rooms. Great cafe in the lobby. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice property and very friendly staff! However,
I’m always disappointed when a hotel advertises ‘hot tub’ or ‘jacuzzi’ but then the tub is simply a luke warm pool. This hotel does indicate (when you read their website carefully) that the ‘hot tub’ is 32 degrees. Which is accurate. But this is not my definition of a ‘hot tub’ or a jacuzzi’.
Other than that, beautiful views and well-appointed rooms.

This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood off the main drag, but walkable to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed all aspects of Agua de Luna and plan to come back for another mini-vacation.

Incredible stay! Incredible service! Incredible hotel. I love everything about Agua De Luna. They did such an incredible job designing the property and service. This is my second time bringing family up to San Pancho and both groups have loved their stay at the property.

We had two rooms at the hotel and absolutely loved our time here. The beds were so comfortable and we slept so well after enjoying time at the pool and jacuzzis. The coffee shop in the lobby is such a nice option or you have tons of restaurants within the 2 blocks around! Amazing service from the team.

The moment we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and juice , kind and professional staff. This beautiful space must be seen. Central location walking distance to everything. San Pancho has a very special place in our hearts and this wonderful hotel has made our stay perfection. Would absolutely come again. Highly recommend

You hardly knew anyone else was there. So quiet and serene! The tropical greenery was amazing and we loved the cafeteria attached. Azul at front reception was amazing and disappointed we weren’t able to see her in our last week to thank her properly. She had all the best hints and tips.

Very clean and secure hotel within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. On site parking was a plus. We also enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzis on the beautiful rooftop deck. The water coolers where you could refill your water bottle was a big plus and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was really beautiful. Beds were fairly comfortable. The roosters are nocturnal though so there wasn't a single night we were not kept up by really really loud rooster gangs.

The common areas were great, especially the rooftop with 2 sauna pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient to get a coffee at the attached cafe. Also an excellent location to access the many restaurants in San Pancho and the beach.

One of the newer properties in San Pancho so very clean, modern and trendy. The design was beautiful, pool and rooftop area was spectacular and the rooms really nicely styled and comfortable.
Front desk was really friendly and inviting and helped us with taxis etc.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This is a really comfy boutique hotel in San Pancho -- quiet, clean, great service. The shower is amazing -- great pressure, hot, never runs out.

Beautiful, clean boutique hotel with friendly and attentive staff! Our room was on the ground floor next to reception so we could hear some activity in the lobby area but not a dealbreaker as the hotel wasn’t too busy during our stay. Bonus: two hot tubs on the roof level with lovely views!
