The Sea Shanty was just beautiful! Plenty enough room for the 4 adults in our party and right on the beach. The balconies and porch had such pretty views of the ocean. The unit was very clean and easy to find. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we could ever need, plus more. Mrs. Robin was a great host! She thought of every thing we needed or had forgotten and had it readily available. She was very fast and easy to communicate with, and very helpful with questions about the area, stores, restaurants, etc. We had a great trip and plan on coming back to the Sea Shanty!

Yes, I would give Sea Shanty, if possible, at least ten stars, and give our host, Robin, the same. Not only is Sea Shanty beautiful, ON the beach, spotlessly clean, and stocked with everything one could want or need, Robin was so responsive and amazing, ensuring check-in and checkout were seamless and that anything we wanted or needed was supplied. We shall return as soon as we can!

This was our first time in Mexico Beach. We truly enjoyed our stay, as well as some great food. The condo was amazing, so Beautifully decorated and a perfect location! Robin is a fantastic host and the amenities she provides are like no other! We plan on returning for another visit. It is definitely a 10/10!

I really don’t know where to start! It so absolutely beautiful, cleanest unit I’ve ever stayed in, and so well located. I have been to resorts and many hotels on beaches but none were as close to the water as this one. Literally step out of lowest porch and your ocean front. The biggest thing about the home is how well stocked it is. Robin has not missed thinking of noting to leave for you. You only need to pack your clothes everything is there for your use. We had the seat time and plan to be back. Thank you Robin for the being the best hotels ever.

This was the best place we have stayed on the coast. The host is great and the quality beach gear that is provided was far beyond our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about the location, property, snacks, and amenities on site. Throw some clothes in your vehicle, order some groceries for pick up on the way, and just show up to enjoy. We will return to this spot again and next time, we will leave our beach gear at home.

The only thing that would have made this trip better would have been it being longer! This townhome is absolutely beautiful! From the decor to the amenities, it checks all the boxes. The owner has thought of everything - even things I would never have thought of myself. You could literally show up with your swimsuit and nothing else! Snacks, towels, reading glasses, spare toiletries, you name it. We loved the location and the beautiful beach. There were lots of places to eat nearby. The owner communicated early and was very responsive with answers to any questions. We will definitely book the Sea Shanty again! Thank you for a great vacation!

This was one of the nicest, cleanest and by far the most well stocked places we have ever stayed! The owner was easy to contact and converse with and the place was just our style! Access to the almost private beach was so super easy, parking was covered, beach chairs a-plenty, and just anything and everything you can think of is on site for you to use. Be sure to check out the Killer Seafood food truck literally directly across the street. The food was fantastic there! Sea Shanty Owner Robin is so generous and kind! I just cannot say enough good things and there were just no negatives with our stay at this place! Beautiful home and we would be delighted to come back sometime if she will have us!

The property was phenomenal. The thoughtfulness that went into stocking the place for every conceivable necessity was out of this world. Loved being so close to the beach. But the pavers were not laid out in the sand walking away from the patio, so you did have to watch for prickly things sticking your feet. Thanks for a great visit!

I have been to Mexico Beach many times, but none in a propert as gorgeous as Sea Shanty or with a phenomenal host like Robin. I had read comments about the unit being stocked, but no comments did the unit justice. Every single detail is thought out and accounted for, every emergency item or regular item you could ever need is stocked and available. The check in/out process was easy, with personal communication with Robin, which I so appreciated compared to some hosts. We stayed for a minimoon and were met with a bowl of goodies and a personalized newlywed card. She truly went above and beyond. Hosting aside, the actual unit is perfect, eith gorgeous views, plenty of space, and great outdoor patios and seating areas. I could not have asked for more. Truly phenomenal.

Wow! Fully stocked is an understatement. The host thought of everything a traveler might need. A great location; comfortable home; clean; and the most thoughtful and organized property/owner I have had the pleasure to experience in a long time. Wow! This home was above and beyond any other home we have stayed in. Beachfront location offer is beautiful with sunsets from three separate patios and balconies. The home was meticulously, clean, and beautifully decorated yet very comfortable.. The extras that Robin provided were so appreciated, and so thoughtful. Highly recommend.

This property was by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The condo was beautiful and very clean. This was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had! The condo was spotless and stocked with essentials. Such a pleasant surprise to have needed items in the condo. Beautiful beach and wonderful little town. The host was very responsive also. We had originally booked for 14 days but enjoyed everything so much we extended our stay!

I have stayed at numerous VRBO properties, this one by far was the most generous, welcoming property we have ever stayed. The property owner was in constant communication with us and let us know weather conditions. The property was amazing and generously stocked. The bath towels in the master bathroom were so amazing, that I asked where she got them. This property was a wonderful retreat and I hope to come back soon. I highly recommend.

Sea Shanty was very clean and comfortable . It was very well stocked, more than any condo I have ever rented. We lacked for nothing from coffee, snacks, extra essentials in case we forgot something from home. Would definitely stay there again. Only drawback I can think of are the stairs going up to the bedrooms which might cause issue with some people. Property manager was great to work with.

Over the years we have stayed in multiple properties in the area, this was the best by far! Great location, super clean, beautiful beach and view. Robin was a great host who has thought of everything. Great communication before the stay and she provided tips and recommendations for the area in her book and emails. Lots of great touches like holiday decorating and little necessities stocked in case you forgot something. Only downside was that we had to leave. Would recommend and stay here again!

Our last visit to MB was 2 months before Hurricane Michael hit. Needless to day, we were heartbroken by the devastation of it. Fast forward 5 years, we were missing Mexico Beach so badly and happened to stumble upon Sea Shanty. What a treasure it turned out to be. The best way I can describe it, and I know it sounds cliche, is "home away from home," but it truly is. All the reviews are absolutely 100% true. Robin has thought of everything you could possibly need, and this place is stocked like you would not believe. Every convenience you could imagine, is at Sea Shanty. It is beautifully decorated, and the view is absolutely stunning. I think we would've tried to tried to stay a few more days, but people were evacuating because of Idahlia, so we left when scheduled. I highly recommend Sea Shanty to anyone who likes vacationing at a slower pace on a beautiful beach and staying in a beautiful place. We hope to go back next year.

This place was perfect! We have spent years renting on 30a and decided we needed a break from the over population and wanted something on the beach. We could not ask for a better location or rental! Not only was Sea Shanty beautiful, it was stocked, which was so tremendously helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and absolutely will be back again.

Everything about our experience was perfect. Sea Shanty felt so warm and welcoming. It was like staying in the home of a friend. From the snacks, coffee, fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, to the beach towels and chairs, Robin anticipated our every need. We truly only needed to bring our swimsuits and flip-flops. Sea Shanty is a beautiful and relaxing ocean front home. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

If you are looking for a townhouse to meet your every want and desire you have found it in Sea Shanty. From the moment you drive up to the covered parking area that includes patio seating, table and a griddle. You walk up the steps to enter a grand kitchen with top of the line appliances, with cabinets fully stocked with everything you forgot to pack. If you are a coffee lover Robin has you covered. From k-cups, creamers, to hot chocolate and a regular coffee pot. She even has snacks to go along with that cup of java. Up stairs you will find luxury beds and bedding. She has all you beach items so their is no need to pack that tent and chairs. Robin is a gracious host that truly has invited us into her home. She has thought of everything! She is very responsive when she is contacted. The only negative thing I can say is you will not want to leave.

Even after reading all the reviews and looking at the photos, I was still shocked at how amazing this place was. A large portion of that is due to the overwhelming thoughtfulness of the host. From the sweet welcome gift to the bathrooms stocked with everything you could have possibly forgotten, Robin made a rental feel like you were staying with a family friend. The location isn't anything to overlook, either. It is literally on the beach with waves and breeze 24/7. The decor/furniture was all beautiful as well as comfortable, especially the beds. We even inquired about the model to purchase one for home. I'm afraid the Sea Shanty won't be a secret for too long but we will 100% be returning as soon as we get the chance!!

Even though the weather was not ideal our stay at Sea Shanty was. Robin goes above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable you can imagine. From access to the beach as well as Killer Seafood " directly across the street to the comfortable beds and everything we needed for utmost comfort, we could not have asked for more.

There are not enough words to describe our stay at Sea Shanty! It surpassed our expectations by far. And Robin, wow, she was amazing and miss accommodating-the hostess with the mostest! I tried to find something the house didn’t have, but she literally had thought about EVERYTHING! This also made our stay even better as we had everything we could possibly need and more. Sea Shanty was exceptional. Robin has a knack for creating comfort. Communication was easy and our needs were anticipated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and more. Beds were very comfortable with high end linens. Plenty of beach chairs and towels...and the Shibumi sunshade is the bomb! Hope to return.
