The acre block and very well presented cottage, the owners have supplied many extras, especially loved the fire pit with all the supplies. The beds were extremely comfortable!

This place is outstanding! Hidden amongst an old rain forest garden which even has a bridge bringing you into the one acre property. Attention to detail is second to none with fairy lights, amenities and many extra features such as firepit, coffee machine, comfy furniture, flowers, candles and a bar on the verandah with a BBQ. The setting is very private and intimate so it's perfect for a romantic getaway. We had our second anniversary here and could not fault anything about the property, location or staff. If you like Cottage style houses and gardens then this place is perfect.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

The house was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful.

This was genuinely one of the easiest, cleanest and in our opinion best places we have stayed. Previously have stayed in plenty of 4 and 5 star hotels and this place takes the cake! The set up was well thought out and all the small things were supplied that aren’t normally. The owners added some Christmas decorations and a personal note which made us feel welcome. We had the ability to relax, unwind and with the size of the yards it was easy to forget we were actually in a town! Will definitely be back in the future!

There was nothing not to like about the property. Communication was great the property was spotless plus the thoughtfulness of the owners to leave complimentary items to sustain their guests was appreciated. I would return without any hesitation. Loved the whole experience at Hughes Hideaway.

Nothing could have been better for me. It was all that we needed it to be.

Hughes Hideaway is in great spot, close to the beach & shops yet completely secluded, surrounded by trees and lawn. It was exceptionally clean, clear & easy communication with the hosts. Excellent facilities

Just lovely hosts and the house itself was beautiful. We would absolutely stay again, very comfy, great location, looking forward to coming back next year!
