I was quite disappointed this time staying here. We stayed at Comfort Inn in Paris Tx in 2023, visiting for a Women's Conference, and loved it. That's why I insisted on staying at this hotel again for the same Women's Conference in 2024
First off i will say the room was comfortable, and clean. The Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly, but This time BOTH of their Ice machines, on 1st and 3rd floors were down, NO ICE. Then at breakfast, the waffle machine was "out of order".
I know sometimes things break, I get that, but when their 2 ice machines, are both out at the same time, and a waffle maker, that is easily enough replaced, is not working, all at the same time, it appears the hotel is declining from what it was.

Great service. Very quiet and peaceful stay! The only quibble I had was the key cards. They didn’t work as well. We had to go down to front desk and get new cards just to get into our room.

Generally good stay. Breakfast was generous but average quality. We stayed two nights and our room was not made up during the day, possibly because of so much business during the eclipse, but we also had to pay a king's ransom for those dates.

There was NO housekeeping after we checked in. We were there 4 nights and wet, dirty towels were no replaced, nor was toilet paper or tissues and waste baskets were not emptied. We asked each day and brought up our own towels, tp and emptied our own trash cans. Never had bath soap, hand soap, shampoo or conditioner. Not a healthy situation

The hotel desperately needs to be updated, many areas in the rooms are stained and dingy. The surfaces were clean and the beds were decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful when my key card kept getting demagnetized. Very limited and outdated workout equipment - the treadmill did not work.

I was put in a handicap room that I did not request and the bathroom shower was filthy which was the only issue I had. The guy at the front desk kindly moved me to another room without trouble.
