The house was located on a quiet street with a beautiful patio out back. It was very clean and accommodating for our group.

Perfect place to stay for a girls weekend. House was very clean and well furnished. Within walking distance to almost all shops. The back porch was especially nice to sit out under at night. Very easy instructions for arriving and leaving. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

My adult daughters, cousin, and I rented this cottage for a ladies weekend away. i highly recommend both the cottage and the property owners! The house was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and well stocked. The owners were responsive and concerned about us having a relaxing and enjoyable time while we were there. The cottage is right around the corner from the Blue Gate Restaurant and the Subway/Gas station, so everything we needed was within walking distance, except for when we wanted to travel further down the road to explore. We are a board game family, and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy some games in the evenings. The new covered deck on the back was a pleasant place to sit and relax. If you have issues with stairs, be aware that 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs, and the stairs are slightly steep and narrow. Both bathrooms are on the main floor. Window air conditioning units were in each upstairs bedroom, so we were able to stay comfortable on a very hot weekend. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage for your next stay in Shipshewana!

We highly recommend staying in this lovely home! Everything about this home is wonderful. The host was very welcoming & responsive. The home was comfortably furnished-so cute! Everything was spotlessly clean. Possibly the best part was the fantastic location on a quiet street where all you could hear was an occasional clip-clip of horse hooves as a buggy would travel nearby. The house is located within east walking distance to many shops, experiences, and the best ice cream in the USA! We highly recommend booking an experience with Buggy Lane tours, eating ice cream at Vanilla Bean creamery, breakfast at Corn Crib Cafe, learning about the history of the Amish community at the Menn-Hoff Museum, and shopping/browsing at the Flea Market. For us, this was a girls’ trip of four retired educators, and we loved every moment!

❤️The location is wonderful, the owners are very accommodating, the house is well appointed, the beds are comfortable, and we bring our sewing machines and have a quilt retreat. This is our second time here and we’ve booked for two more mini-vacations. Highly recommend!!!❤️

This property is absolutely beautiful and CLEAN. There was plenty of room for 5 people to move around. The newly completed covered backyard deck was impressive. So relaxing. Loved hearing the horses when they went by the house. This property is close to everything in Shipshewana. We walked everywhere, even to the flea market. We were so impressed with this property, we would like to stay here again in the future. You need to stay here too!

The house was exactly as listed. It was in a great location, and we had fun walking from the house to many locations. It was clean, and we really enjoyed the new covered deck on the back! We would absolutely return to this house next time we are in Shipshewana! It was exactly what we needed for our weekend there during my daughter’s volleyball tournament!

Had a great time. It was so nice for my friend and I to be so close to the shops in town. Having a full kitchen, plus we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay.

Only concern was that the pictures did/ could not show that there was a step up from kitchen into bedroom on ground floor. One of my friends who was with us uses a walker and she fell. I was looking for a place that was all one level and was not able to see it in the pictures. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay and we enjoyed it.

We carried in two tables and spent four nights/three days machine piecing our quilt projects. The house was so clean and there’s a bed and bath on the main floor which was perfect for our friend who couldn’t do stairs. We’ve already booked a five night stay for next year and would highly recommend it to others. It’s a perfect location to walk to Lolly’s and other shops.

Cute place in a great location, simple check-in, & very clean. Owner even left us goodies in the refrigerator. Loved the stove!!

We have stayed at many VRBO homes over the years, and this home was the absolute best! From the beautiful decor to the warm hospitality of the hosts, it couldn't have been better. It was obvious that much thought and caring went into the home to make it just right for the guests. The Christmas tree and decorations were an added touch! Property was as advertised, just a couple blocks from downtown, and owner was responsive. We would stay there again! Appreciated the nice sized kitchen table for playing games, and the spacious living room. It was also great to have two bathrooms.

The reviews of this home give a very accurate accounting of the home - we walked everywhere in Shipshewana, it’s super cute, calming, all we needed for a weekend with family. We appreciate the attentiveness of the owner, and had no issues. We would stay here again and we’d recommend it. Upstairs is better for younger legs but we were a multigenerational group and planned accordingly.

Cozy home, nice bedding and towels. Beds are a little squeaky and the stairs are steep, but overall a great place to stay. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so bring your own. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and there were extra blankets and pillows if needed.

Shipshewana is very nice. We appreciated our experience while we we in town for Notre Dame vs OSU.

Very clean, near downtown area, host extremely accommodating and very friendly. Made our stay very enjoyable! Would book this property anytime!!!

Perfect setting and lovely old home. The only issues we had were the steep stairs and the soft mattresses. Not the best for 4 senior sisters that need to get up several times to use bathrooms that were downstairs. Maybe need an instruction book on how to operate TVs and other info. Hostess responded quickly.

Very nice little house to stay in, close to shopping/restaurants. It does have steep stairs, but we had seen this in the reviews. I would suggest more light in the separate downstairs bathroom. Host was available if needed questions answered. They were redoing the curbs/sidewalks/roads around the house, so this made it difficult to get in/out of the house(nothing the host can do about that), but she was accommodating about that. We enjoyed our time there.

The property was just what our group needed. It had a nice kitchen supplied with pans/utensils we needed. We spent a fair amount of time at the kitchen table playing board games and eating. The living room was comfortable and nicely decorated. When I needed answers or a couple of requests, Jessica responded quickly. My girlfriends and I had a lovely visit to the area.
