Very bed place. Out of nowhere. Canalization is going to the beach. Looks like they are in finantial truble. Many dangerous snimals around. They promised to return my money, but did not do it. Be careful! Very bad expirience. I hope costumers reed it before.

When the gate door opens, you realise that you have arrived to a little paradise. We extended our stay with 1 night to total of 3 nights and enjoyed everything minute of it. Grand merci Catherine and all the team and we hope to be back one day

Spectacular service by everyone on staff, especially the host, Catherine. Going above and beyond the expectations to make the guests enjoy every moment of their time! Every part of the resort impeccably clean at every moment of the stay. Pristine water ( see comment about the beach, sand below ) Smooth and knowledgeable service for out-of-resort activities - airport ride, sightseeing tours ... ( comfortable, clean and spacious resort-owned vehicle, knowledgeable and very friendly driver Nioman speaking excellent English) Nice , thoughtful details in each room to make the stay even more care-free: - 5-gallon/ 20 liter water cooler - Dolce Gusto coffee machine in each room - selection of bottles of wines and spirits with clearly labeled prices - snorkeling and canoe equipment free of charge Animals in the surroundings, to me they add to the overall feeling ( I am aware not all people like them, but nature without them is ... unnatural ) - dogs ( always friendly) roaming on the beach, occasional geckos ( tookays - lizards ) on the room ceiling, early morning rooster calls, pleenty of fish and corral... ( That said, there were NO mosquitoes or other aggressive insects... and I did not miss that aspect of nature at all :-) ) ...

- Limited food menu, especially breakfast ( boring after few days, especially since there are no restaurant alternatives nearby) - High liquor prices, even by Bali standards ( bottle of Rawson's Retreat" red wine, $7 in US shops, 500Baht ( $14 in Bangkok ) is ~1000000 IRP ( ~$65 ). The other items: not much the resort can do about: The resort is fenced off the beach ( I guess local regulations, saw it at other Bali resorts... ). Access is through a small gate... not an issue, except visual... However the beach ( beautiful black sand and pebbles ) is not as clean as the rest of the resort - debris, some discarded clothes, two bags of construction sand... stayed untouched over our 5 day stay. The resort is 3 hours drive from the airport - clearly stated in the description, well worth the tranquility the resort offers, but still not fun after a long flight

Petit déjeuner EXCEPTIONNEL servi de 7h à 15h…,Servi au choix au bord de la piscine , dans la piscine , au restaurant ou même en terrasse dans notre bungalow !! Personnel incroyable , un réseau WIFI EXCEPTIONNEL , même sur la plage le réseau Wifi était en puissance 10/10 je n’ai jamais vue cela !! Les serveuses et le personnel en général, changent de tenues chaque jours de différentes couleurs La cuisine est excellente. Cuisine Indonésienne , Cuisine Italienne ,où Cuisine Française aux choix ,la vue Mer est à 360°, la propreté, le lit, la décoration tout est là, rien ne manque , sauf l’envie de rester toute l’éternité. C’est juste INCROYABLE , le Paradis sur Terre …!

Une petite merveille au nord est de Bali à decouvrir absolument ! Notre séjour au Louka beach fut inoubliable! Absolument tout, que ce soit notre lodge à la décoration soignée avec salle de bain en plein air, la plage de sable noir à 2 pas avec des fonds marins de toute beauté, les agréables piscines, le personnel au petit soin, les masseuses aux mains de fée, et l extreme gentillesse de Catherine et Laurent, tout donc était parfait pour notre séjour en couple. On a même eu droit à un spectacle de danse balinaisz spécialement prévu pour nous la veille de notre départ. Si nous n avions visité que le sud de l île, nous n aurions probablement jamais eu envie de revenir à Bali. Mais Catherine et Laurent avec leur hôtel merveilleux niché dans une zone peu touristique et pas bruyante nous ont fait aimer Bali et donné envie d'y reposer nos valises ! A bientôt donc!

Wat mij het meeste beviel aan de accomodatie is de gastvrijheid en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel . Jet eten is superlekker , je kan er eten waar en wanneer je ook wil . Ideaal om tot rust te komen en lekker te genieten in de gezellige hutjes .

An amazing property with an amazing staff, a paradise in North Bali. The resort is built and managed with love and passion and you can enjoy this any single moment of your stay. The resort had a plenty of pieces of balinese crafts and this create a unique atmosphere of the resort. If you’re looking for a luxurious secluded accommodation, Louka Beach Bali villas is definitely for you!

This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The staff are all so kind and helpful and the owner is so friendly and nice. The room is AMAZING and spacious with such a nice patio, all of the meals were delicious, the pool is perfect to enjoy during the day.

We truly loved this parenthesis at Louka Beach. Catherine, the owner is such a wonderful woman who transformed this place in a piece of heaven on earth with its luxuriant garden, the 2 swimming pools, the restaurant for gourmet people... Everything was there: the professionalism and the kindness of the staff, the customers’ well-being… We thank you Catherine and your staff for offering us so much happiness and we look forward to being back. You rock Madam!

Nothing… Everything was just perfect!

I loved everything about Louka. I stayed there three nights to relax and unwind travelling solo- I couldn’t have picked a better place: Louka is a paradise on earth. Not just for the breath-taking location, style, and services but also for the feeling. The atmosphere is very intimate, chic and every detail of the resort is looked after wonderfully. The staff is adorable and you have the feeling of visiting an old friend but in complete privacy and tranquillity. The private cottage was spacious, cosy with Balinese furniture and details. You can enjoy the main pool or the more private one- as well as different relax areas. The massages and food were great as well. I hope to come back soon!

Uniqueness! You will never find a place in whole Bali that is similar to it. The whole concept and the authenticity. The sincerity of the owners. The whole vibe around the place is extremely different! The effort spent to customize each cabin is truly inspiring. A french Balinese fusion that you would never imagine to encounter in this area of the world. You will feel the isolation yet you will be going through a luxurious experience.

Amazingly authentic resort with spacious villas in Balinesian style. Wonderful tropical garden in front of the black sandy beach. Super friendly and helpful staff and especially owner Catherine always keen to help, going above and beyond. Tasty food menu with Indo and Western dishes, and great quality wine list. Comfortable matrasse makes you sleep deep. No time limit for breakfast, they allow you to take your time. It’s the place to come down and really do nothing, your body and soul will teach you what to do. We stayed 4 perfect days and would always come back and recommend.

The hotel sits right on the beach, in a small village without many commercial activities. But we found exactly what we are looking for - a place to chill and relax, after 10 days in other, busier parts of Bali. The hotel ground is so well maintained, the lobby and restaurant is beautiful, and the rooms are decorated with lovely Balinese crafts. A lot of thoughts and efforts went into keeping this place so perfect! The hotel restaurant also has delicious food and drinks. The hotel has two pools, and offers free snorkeling tools, kayak and paddle boarding. Bring your own snorkeling gears (they have a limited selection of sizes) if you want a super snorkel session right off the ocean in front - corals and fish, great visibility. The manager Catherine and all the staff were super friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you so much! I couldn’t recommend more this hotel to families and couples who want a beautiful, relaxing beach holiday in Bali!

- Maybe one thing is that there aren’t many things to do around, but it didn’t bother us at all since we just want to chill. - Would be nice to improve the roads and the surroundings leading up to the hotel after the turn on the main road.

Everything, it was perfect from check in to check out, their attention to make you feel like part of a family was most appreciated, we felt valued but also we felt like part of their lives. Everyday was made special by their happiness and smiles. The service was perfection, personal yet not overbearing. Catherine was the ultimate host, so intent on making sure we were happy, nothing was impossible for her. She always made sure we were looked after and took a keen interest in our plans to tour the area so that we made the most of each day. The facilities are amazing, each bungalow offering beautiful Bali feels, super private and comfortable, whilst making you feel like you are in heaven. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay there. The perfect spot in Bali if you want to escape the Hussle and bustle of the main cities. Sunrise everyday with the beautiful sound of waves crashing. Unbelievable location. Truly the best relaxing holiday experience we have ever had. Thank you to everyone.

Although the facilities were great, we did have a couple of issues due to impending maintenance. However, when notified, Katherine was caring, attentive and proactive. Also compensating us meaning the overall experience was not in any way marred.

Everything!!! The staff, the food, the location, the owners! They made our honeymoon unforgettable and went above and beyond to make us feel special!!

Great location to unwind and relax. Catherine and team really look after you. Highly recommend if you want to be pampered and need a bit of downtime from a busy life.

I loved the place and the staff were amazing

it’s very far from the airport 3 hours drive and the road was scary but luckily we had a good driver. Also be aware of the street dogs they walk around the place the whole day so it was not comfortable to eat while the dogs were walking around the restaurant area and laying next to your feet

The pool was fantastic as was the food and service

They had some noisy domestic dog that was yapping late at night and then from 4am some mornings .

This place is great for a getaway, just what we needed for 3 days. It is north Bali and there is not much developed. There are not many restaurants around for example. Luckily the place has a great chef! Opened in Jan 2023 and owned by a French couple that ran a restaurant near Paris they did a great job building a beautiful small boutique place to get a rest, swim, get a great massage, and explore a beautiful waterfall close by (we went by scooter).

It would be nice if the location offered a proper scooter. Small minor things went off sometimes, as the place is brand new, but its part of the experience. One of the rooms is smaller than the others and due to the large bed it feels a bit small, but we paid less than others, so still good value for money.
