Historic home in a historic neighborhood. Anastasia is 5-star host and very accommodating. Walking distance to some of the best Italian restaurants in the Midwest. Was able to get downtown for a hockey game at Enterprise in 15 minutes. Our family can't say enough about the comfortable stay, convenient location, and the quality of the home.

The house is all updated so very clean. It provided the basics that we needed. The host responded promptly when we reached out to her. I would highly recommend this house on The Hill. It is walking distance to many coffee houses, restaurants and bars. It still remains a quiet and clean and safe area.

Other reviews are accurate that express cleanliness, host helpfulness, and access to the Hill. All good. No complaints.

Very unique, well kept fun place to stay… We would definitely come back!!

Cute place!

At the expected time we got instructions emailed to us from VRBO. When we arrived, with printed instructions in hand, they made no sense. The "lower buttons" that were to follow our specific six-digit code did not exist on the electronic lock. We tried every button that didn't have a number but none worked to unlock the door. Had we not been standing in the sun with the temperature near 100 degrees, we might have been more understanding and patient. We promptly asked for help via the VRBO app and began carrying our groceries, etc. back down the stairs to our car and loaded them and ourselves back into the car. We were debating where we would go for Happy Hour before we heard back. We were given new directions (4-digit code instead of 6-digit code) and told "VRBO has been having issues where they haven't updated anybody's check-in instructions" Since the property manager seemed to know this, I would have expected that she could/should have made sure we had the correct information. That is what I have done as a property manager. Disappointing but not tragic: The wifi never worked during our three-night stay. We were able to get spotty service from an adjacent property as suggested by the property manager. We had trouble finding enough forks and wine glasses for the three of us without washing once or twice a day. A TV remote was missing in one of the bedrooms.

Property was very good. A very cute and unique look to the house. We had 7 staying most the time and, while the house was a little smaller than expected, it fit us all easily.

Anastasia was amazing and easy to communicate with. The house is wonderful, very comfortable and it's located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. There are many options for great Italian restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this property for your next trip to St. Louis.

The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room for all of us. The only thing we would ask before we stayed there again is to fix how the temperature is regulated. We set it at 69 and there were times it got up to 75. It was over 90 degrees when we were there. And the kitchen is not stocked very well.

Great location. Clean, nice kitchen, great yard for the kids to play in, plenty of room in the house to spread out.

The house was clean and well stocked. Conveniently located to many attractions like the zoo, science museum, Grants farm… lots of variety of nearby places to eat. Anastasia was a great host! Thanks for making our stay comfortable and affordable. Would definitely stay again.

Property was conveniently located for our visit with extended family on the Hill.

We enjoyed our stay- the neighborhood is great with lots of Italian restaurants nearby. Quick drive to the zoo and the downtown area.

Stayed here for a week long Spring Break trip (2 adults, 5 kids). We appreciated the central location and the quiet, safe neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong tables in the basement. Nice sectional for TV viewing at night.

My girlfriends and I rented for my birthday weekend out of town. The location is amazing and we felt very safe. We had a little trouble on our end figuring out the door the first time, but the owner was very responsive and helped us figure it out instantly and was such an amazing help and we didn’t have to wait for a response! House is absolutely gorgeous and just as pictured! We all had an amazing stay and would stay again in the future!

My wife and I along with our adult children and grandchildren enjoyed our stay at The Hill! This older home with character is in a quiet neighborhood and it was a great base location for our vacation outtings in St. Louis. The property was as described and was clean and well supplied. This was the perfect property for our golf foursome and baseball in the evening.

This house is a little on the outside and big on the inside. It was very comfortable and clean. They even provided us with shampoo and conditioner and body wash. The property owner was very easy to deal with and the price was perfect for our group.
