Location for access to the Hill and Forest Park is great. Quiet street. Main floor nice. Needs kitchen towels. Basement shows age of house and bedroom and bathroom are okay but the basement is not inviting. Would rent again but not use the basement.

We had a very nice stay at this property! Although the description was inadvertently inaccurate (Nothing major, but missing the sofa sleeper for one occupant), the owners were very responsive and quick to remedy the situation (even brought over a brand new air mattress that night!) and also gave us the option to cancel and change VRBO properties. Well I'm very glad we chose to stay! We loved being so close to The Hill, downtown, the museums and Forest Park area, West St Louis County. We got to see family, sightsee in town, and enjoy the Hill restaurants and parks. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay (teens loved the ping pong table!). Wifi was good, heat worked great, kitchen was stocked with most things you'd need (did have to figure out the microwave, since button labels were rubbed off, lol, but we did it!), and they gave us all the extra pillows and blankets we wanted.
