Прекрасная квартира в центре Фуншала. Электронные замки для общей двери и двери в квартиру. Большая ванная: огромный душ, есть биде, полотенца, жидкое мыло, фен. Кухня прекрасная со всей необходимой посудой, были даже кофе, чай, сахар, масло… Очень удобная кровать. Много источников света. Кондиционер. Маленький балкончик. Мы были 8 дней. На четвертый день даже пришли убирать, хотя для квартир это нечасто бывает. Мусор сортируется. Есть лифт. Пару минут пешком супермаркет. Совет: там можно поесть в виде шведского стола, открыто до позднего вечера , вкусно и дешево. Цена квартиры нормальная. С удовольствием бы остановились снова здесь. Obrigada !!!

Улица довольно шумная, хоть и маленькая. Но для этого есть двойные двери на балкон, если их закрыть, то ничего не слышно. Нет утюга и пылесоса. Но думаю, кому надо, можно написать хозяевам и принесут.

I cannot comment on this particular apartment because a few weeks before my arrival the host told me that they were having some technical problems and could not provide me with this place. In return, he offered me a smaller room for the same price. I didn't agree, so the host gave me a much larger apartment in a new building - Tanoeiros Residence. Spacious apartment, well-equipped, clean, right in the city center.

2 weeks before arrival, the host made me feel very stressed by informing me about technical problems in the room, but he agreed to gave us different apartment in other localisation. Nobody picked up the garbage. We left the bags in the designated locker at the exit from the staircase, but no one took the bags and it stank.

The central location and the fact that it had everything I needed, including in unit washer and dryer.

The window in the bedroom was hard to open.

Loved the clean modern look to the place. So central and convenient. Filipe was fantastic.

Shower floor was very slippery.

The check in was very smooth. Everything is done online with a code so it was very smooth. The entrance was very nice and the room very modern design which we appreciate. Location couldn’t be better and the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment you may need.

A lot of things that we didn’t like that totally ruin our stay. When we check in first of all we didn’t know which room that was ours, we didn’t receive information about that. When we enter the room we saw immediately that it wasn’t cleaned. The floor had stains and were sticky, the sofa was covered in stains, the walls were dirty, hair in the shower and the worst thing was that the bedsheets was USED! You could clearly see that the bedsheets, pillows cases and bed cover was used and dirty. We panicked because it was late in the night and we refused to sleep in a used bed. The contact we had was Beatrice and she just stopped answering when we needed her the most. She actually stopped answering from that day and the rest of our stay. I called every number I could find, nobody answered. So it’s absolutely not 24h service/reception here. When nobody was answering, we decided to wash all the bedsheets which took over 2 hours and then dry them for one hour so yeah… we went to sleep at 4 in the morning and this totally ruined the next day. The next day someone respond us (not Beatrice) and told us that housekeeping would come and properly clean. When we came back to the apartment later in the evening, the floor was still not clean, the bed not even made and it was a flood in our bathroom. Your can only imagine our frustration… We was just staying there for 2 night and both of them were ruined. So yes, it’s looks beautiful and the location is great but this was far from okay and I would never recommend anyone to book a stay here. Im still waiting for refund or some compensation for ruining our weekend in Funchal!

Beautiful apartment in the centre of Funchal! The staff was very friendly and responsive. There is even a kitchen and a washing machine in there. Highly Recommend!

Great apartment and couldn't ask for a better location. It was quiet and clean. There is an underground and cheap car park 10 minutes away by called Parking Santa Luzia, that will avoid you the more expensive on-street parking. If you are looking for the iron, it's on the 3rd floor in a staff room next to the elevator;)

If I had to write something, the only thing would be the passcode entry and no key, but maybe I'm just traditional:) So make sure you don't forget the code

Lack of parking and no cleaning and change of towels for a week

Location was definitely the greatest benefit of the place- do you need a quick coffee in the morning or a nice breakfast- they are just around the corner! Did you rent a car and need a parking? No problem, there is a 24h parking just 10 min away. When it comes to the property itself, you can definitely notice the effort & resources invested to build/renovate it. It was designed by someone with an eye to the detail. It is definitely impressive how quite it was for the location it has! A great plus I could add to, is the code system, which allows you to think about an item less :)

Alert- I am a very picky guest and it is likely others might not agree with the below :) The place has a great potential. I personally liked how new everything was- from the tiles, plints, floors to the meubels themselves. However, the impression me and my partner were left with about the particular room we had is that it is somehow not well maintained. Upon our arrival we instanly noticed a smell coming from the batrhoom & the canalization. The shower cabin itself was not well cleaned- there was dirt & mold stuck between the tiles (thankfully, with a quick whatsapp message that was instantly resolved. Great reaction there! ). Yet, such instances set your vacation to a bad start. Especially, when I used to work in housekeeping and I am aware that it is possible to keep this part well maintained. It is a small effort at each cleaning. That also includes the glass door, which already had drops & some fingers on, when we arrived. While the issue was resolved, we did enjoy a whole night bleach smell coming from our bathroom, which ( again) is not a pain to die from, but brings the wrong mood. The small things. We definitely missed getting our towells changed. The property does have a washing machine, but when you are on a vacation, it adds a nice touch to let someone else take care of these things. :) Add it as a paid option, perhaps? Everybody travels from afar before reaching Madeira. We often don't want to bring our big bottles of shampoo. conditioners, toothpaste etc. Having those taken care of would be very helpful. Why not get involved with a local brand and make a nice partnership? :) I would love to avoid buying whole bottles again. And the random plastic bottle left on the floor of the shower cabin, does not seem to me trustworthy either. :) The unexpected guests Oh yeah, we kept our windows closed and used mainly airco, and we kept the little food we had in the fridge.

It is a studio,so not that much space

Centric but not in a crowded, noisy and smelly street Apartment has all you need including washing and dryer machine

Please fix the elevator door, it gives you 0.005 seconds to enter and exit before doors try to kill you ( no system to automatic detect you) Door lock (of the apartment) is amazingly dangerous as cannot be open manually and automatically locks and unlocks (wonder what would happen in case of an emergency if did not work for whatever reason) Not views.

There is no parking on the same street but perfect parking place near R. Pimenta de Aguiar 14, free parking from 8pm-8am Mon-Fri, 2pm-8am Saturday and Free on Sunday. Just 5min downstairs to the apartaments

Towels were not changed in 7 days

Location was fantastic. It is within walking distance of all the main things in Funchal and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and loved the decor however we felt we did not make use of the kitchenette at all so for us the price was not worthwhile. Also we stayed for 1 week so asked for replacement towels midweek and we’re told we would have to pay 10 euros to have them changed. I would expect the towels to be changed at least once without an additional cost bearing in mind the property is high cost already. We also tried to use the ironing room on several occasions and could not get in as it was locked every time.

We could not get into the ironing room - tried on several occasions and was always locked. Clean towels were charged for. Door to room was very difficult to open! My partner had to do it each time. We were in room 2.
