Modern, clean and tidy.
We didn’t know it was a basement flat and that there was no window in the living area. The sofa was not very comfortable.

Fantastic hosting,there to help with anything you need,but not intrusive.Groundfloor access with parking was brilliant for our needs as I have reduced mobility.Wheelchair accessible and comfortable small secure garden area for relaxing in the evening with the owners gunie pigs , too cute! The property is on a hill,like most in Bude, but as a blue badge holder it was close enough for small drives to drop off in the town and in the future, a mobility scooter would be a great idea to easily reach the shops and get out for a coffee.
Comfy bed, bath and shower,with the bonus of an extra outdoor shower for sandy guests.
We were able to access the disabled facilities on the Summerleaze beach, including the rental of a beach hut and access to the amazing surf lessons provided by the charity Adsurf and the Big Blue surf school . For anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bude, close to the bars and restaurants,this is placed well. For a night in, it’s around the corner from the coop and has a small freezer for the ice, good sized fridge,microwave, cooker and Netflix!

Great location and just a short walk to town centre. Apartment was really clean and modern. Nice spacious bathroom. Good facilities.
Nothing really, we had a really good stay. Only very minor point would be that there is no view from the back courtyard that we didn’t know about until getting there but the resident Guinea pigs were enjoyable to watch.

Beautiful, clean, well equipped apartment just 10 minutes walk from the beach. Close to the town, river and canal. Off road parking which was very welcome. All in all a great find.

The property was very clean and well located - a couple of minutes walk to the main high-street in Bude. Had all the facilities that we needed, kitchen was good for us to cook meals in. The shower was very nice with lots of pressure. Parking was good on the front which was very helpful. Would recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Bude. Was very good value for money.

The whole experience at Once Upon a Tide was exceptional. The accommodation is a recent refurbishment and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped should you wish to cook during your stay, cleaning materials were also provided. Spacious bathroom, seating area and bedroom. Very good location for shops, restaurants, bars and beach. Hosts replied quickly to any questions/requests.
