Just everything!! It was just a pleasure to stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at māra . On arrival the Nicky was lovely and friendly and gave us some yummy bran muffins. The property has extensive gardens which the guests can walk around and lots of tui. We were lucky and early spring blossom was just out. The room was really well appointed, warm and the bed very comfortable. The outdoor seating area overlooks the garden with bird feeding spots right in front of you and sun and shade options which was great. The breakfast was really good consistency of toast with local spreads and Bircher muesli. On day 2 yummy brioche roles.

This was a warm cosy place to stay. Nicky our host welcomed us with warm lemon cakes and had the heaters on warming the room before we arrived. The facilities were modern and well furnished.

The lack of a washing basin for dishes was a bit tricky and finding the entrance of the property late at night was interesting!

Nicky the host was amazing. She made our anniversary special with a beautiful card and some bubbles! The room was amazing and the nature surroundings was phenomenal! Loved waking up to bird sounds!

This has been our best hotel experience in New Zealand. Nicky is a lovely host, who made us fresh muffins. The spacious room has a comfortable king-size bed. Around the room you can sit outside in the garden. The facilities are spotless. The breakfast is lovey.

Brand new with modern decor and furniture, and a comfortable bed and chairs. In a great location on the outskirts of Mapua where you benefit from the quiet but within driving distance of the wharf and shops, and also within 30 mins drive of Abel Tasman. A lovely location within the grounds of Nicky’s home - she is a great host who was really friendly and provided a wonderfully unexpected treat of homemade muffins and a continental breakfast. A great 2 night stay!

We are so glad to have the opportunity to stay at this wonderful place and grateful for the warmest of welcomes from the owner Nicky. A beautiful, immaculate and stylish accommodation with so much thought put into the sleek Scandinavian style. Gorgeous fittings, lighting, crockery. A really good coffee machine, lovely linen. The best shower. A relaxing outdoor deck surrounded by beautiful gardens. As if that wasn’t enough, Nicky was so friendly and welcoming, and we were presented with a delicious breakfast basket of healthy delights each day, making us very happy indeed. We loved the location in Ruby Bay. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
