The house is beautifully restored and an absolute oasis. It’s very clean, feels like home the moment you step into the front garden, and has a gorgeous back garden, where you are drawn to spend all your time. The house is centrally located so shops, the Benalla art gallery, and the lake are all within easy walking distance.

Great attention to detail throughout the home. Loves the period style property and the private garden at the rear. Walking distance to main streets and local eating spots. Super easy check in and attentive host.

The location was fantastic close to everything we needed. We all felt like we were at home it was so comfortable, warm and was extremely clean.

Absolutely nothing, excellent place to stay

Wonderful stay, amazing historical house. The host thought of everything, really comfortable very enjoyable stay! Beds were very comfortable, house cosy, lots of room heaters to keep us warm in winter, electric blankets a nice treat. House in great location, close to town. The “Northo” pub down the road served great food in a lovely atmosphere. Thanks for a special stay, we will be back!

The breakfast was so so good little things like that makes you think your hosts know how to make there guests feel good.And the bottle of red well over the top.beds very comfy .I cant recommend this place to much because we will never to get a booking again .(ha ha)Rating A1

We have stayed several times always super clean and comfortable. We always attempt to book Kilparney House first when staying in Benalla.

It would be great if the formal dining was a 3rd bedroom

Nothing really apart from no Wifi

Location, the little special touches, heater turned on, we arrived late the front light was on, comfortable beds.

Breakfast okay.- appreciated a good OJ. The bottle of red and Tim Tams a noted pleaser too! Liked the location and off street parking. Also retention of originality of the house and meeting the requirements of being away.

Pod coffee- rather a jar of good instant coffee !

Location was very good and the house was very clean and had everything required - apart from wi-fi.

I enjoyed the house but it was very cold when I visited Benalla and the house, being older, was hard to get warm.

It was noisy at night

The location was perfect. The hosts had thought of everything you could need for a short stay.

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh bread, milk, orange juice, etc. Bed was so comfortable - bed linen amazing. So much space for the four of us (2 couples). Lovely garden. Definitely exceded our expectations & will definitely stay there again.

Property was very centrally located, 5 minute walk from centre of town & 5 minute walk from a very nice pub with a great meal menu. House was a really lovely period style home, nicely decorated & furnished in similar style with all mod cons. Lovely secluded rear garden & outdoor BBQ area.
