Great position, lovely rooms.

The Schlossle is a very charming hotel very well located in the lovely old town of Tallinn. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional and the entrance foyer and lounge areas are quiet and comfortable. The rooms are generally very quiet as well. The breakfasts are excellent, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was large.

We found exiting the main hotel to 'go around the corner' to our room wasn't ideal (especially in pretty bad weather). We had booked a 'deluxe garden room' but the room we got was around the 'service side' of the building which meant noises outside early some days (we were there 4 nights). The room was not at all like the photos on the site and we were rather disappointed. In particular the photos show sofa seating for two to be able to relax in in the room (important if you're there for a few days) but this wasn't there and the room seemed much smaller than the photos. However the bathroom was very large (it was an accessible room). I imagine with a room as advertised the hotel would be excellent, but unfortunately we didn't get that.

The New Year’s Eve meal took very long to serve and most of the courses were cold dishes - the one hot dish felt lukewarm

Kaikki sujui mukavasti, ei mitään varsinaista negatiivista palautetta. Pienenä kehitysehdotuksena hotellin aamiainen, jossa voisi olla hieman vaihtelua buffetin sisällössä esim. muutaman päivän välein. Lauantaina aamiaiselle pääsyä joutui odottamaan hetken viimeisen puolen tunnin aikana, jolloin useimmat asiakkaista saapuivat. Kannattaisi ehkä harkita aamiaisajan pidentämistä viikonloppuisin vielä hieman.

The building is beautifully restored and excellent atmosphere. Service at the terrace could have been more attentive. Breakfast was excellent, very considerate and friendly service. Good and tasty breakfast. The check out was odd. We paid upon arrival and that was not clearly registered, but we were asked for evidence about the payment when we checked out. Why wasn't information carefully saved on our rooms?

Check out, attitude of the receptionist as if we would have planned to leave without paying. We paid by the hotel request upon arrival.

Very nice room, excellent staff, they spoke several languages, hotel has a brilliant location.

Everything but the room type and view!!! We paid for a better room and view and did not GET IT because we were there for 4-5 nights and they could not accommodate us without room changes, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!

Parking overpriced

Already the reception at the hotel was very warm. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and could watch a dance performance until the room was ready for occupancy. The rooms are very cozy and individually furnished

The building is so interesting. It’s also centrally located to so many things to see and do. The on-site restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is delicious.

Very nice atmosphere and interior of the Hotel. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, the bathroom was also spacious, bright and functional. Excellent bath products. All in all all the premises, public and private, had a nice old-time atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, you could not hope for anything more. Fresh tasty products, so many things to choose. Warm dishes are made to order just for you and they are so tasty. Breakfast is topped off with a glass of sparkling wine. The service is excellent, we needed help before arrival with some reservations and this was taken care off so well. The beauty salon they recommended was really good. The service in breakfast room and in the reception was considerate. We highly recommend Schlössle Hotel and are sure that we will be back on our next visit to Tallinn.

The only thing we could fault were the pillows in the bed, they could have been more plush and firm.
