Breakfast was amazing

I had a lovely warm welcome after a very long journey. The room was beautifully presented, modern and exceptionally clean.

Only a small gripe but the noise from above was quite loud, as was the sound of people walking past the room late at night and very early in the morning along with the noise of slamming doors.

Very friendly staff who are happy to assist with anything, lovely clean room, easy to access and no problem finding it. Would definitely return to stay again!

I would prefer a slightly larger TV in the room, but that's me and it doesn't take anything away from the stay.

Stayed at the old Mill to go to Edinburgh for the rugby at murrayfield, very close to the railway station & great value will definitely use the old mill again,

The Breakfast was extra but well worth the money, it was all top quality food and the host couldn't do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would certainly stay here again.

we loved everything about the property! Alan, owner, was very welcoming on arrival and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next day was excellent and great value for money

Lovely big clean rooms.

Room 1, was awoken at 3am with someone coming into room next door. Could hear coming in front door as slammed it shut. Along corridor and passed our door. When he went into his room you could hear everything even going to the toilet.😬 That was us awake after this.

We had a great stopover stay at Auld Mill House Hotel! The owner is an absolute joy to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge of what is happening in the city. He makes you feel right at home! On a tip from him we were able to snag some of the last tickets available for the Red Hot Chilli Pipers as well as see a cool little pub! Breakfast was made fresh and was the best we have had on our entire trip. I’d not hesitate to book a room here again on future trips!
