The pools and walk to the beach was good.

Rooms not clean. Smelt of sweat and sewerage in the bathroom. Smell would not go away, staff sprayed the room as an easy fix solution. Our family next door had a non working air-conditioning and it took 3 days for it to be fixed. They eventually moved rooms. Then the new rooms shower did not work. The 5 days we were here we had been let down. I am waiting on the hotel to get back to me with a resolution otherwise I will take it further.

Great breakfast and good location

The room bed/mattress was uncomfortable, room amenities were a bit old but ok.

I never leave bad reviews unless it’s really not a good value for the money and I want others to know. Two good things about this place is it’s friendly staff who are really trying their best but have really hard time since they receive 100s complaints a day. Great job staff, I wish you all to find better jobs! And the fact that they don’t water down alcohol. BAD STUFF: The room we got first had bed bugs and I got bitten the moment I took a nap. They changed the room but the damage was already done. The food is really not tasty, or fresh. We ate at the hotel 3 times only cause if this. I can eat anything and really have low standards cause I love eating but this was too bad even for me. The beach is so small and overcrowded so we were going to other beaches. It’s also ugly. The ACs are broken(the thing for directing the air is taken off. Trust me in every room since we had to change rooms cause of the bed bugs!) plus it takes long time to actually cool of the room. You also can’t adjust the temperature, it’s either 18c or off. Plus it turns off if the balcony door is open. I hate the fact I booked this place. But you live and you learn. Not their fault but Gümbet itself is the worst we saw on the whole peninsula. They are way better places.

The pool areas

The food was disgusting and for hygiene purposes for instance the buttter wasn’t in small individual tubs but in a open bowl of iced water with fly’s landing on it from the start of the session till everything was cleared away. Also if something ran out like for instance dinner time at 8.15 and dinner was until 9.00 it wasn’t refilled. Also the standard of cleaning in the room was terrible I think each day a maximum of 2 minutes was spent by the cleaner in each room.

Breakfast was great Great location in a very quiet yet vibrant part of the city . Excellent service at reception.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Yes the bedroom itself could have been slightly cleaner but it was super comfortable and had everything I needed. Loved the bathroom, which was clean and really nice.

Nice big room, great breakfast, room cleaning was excellent. Location is superb, felt secure neighborhood and awesome restaurants in walking distance.

the hotel have everything you need, staff are so friendly and helpful, Ahmet, unroll ahi and ariif one of the best person in the hotel, hotel have slide food are perfect and drinks all inclusive, Ahmet make us so many nice cocktails. we really love this place
