Beautiful house with incredible views of Georgetown Lake. House is spacious and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Well stocked kitchen too. We hope to return again. Thanks.

Had an awesome time at this beautiful spacious cabin. The proximity to Discovery Ski Area is great and there’s plenty of parking for family to convene on this location. There’s everything for cooking dinners here, just bring your ingredients and enjoy a very large, well-layed-out workspace. It’s so nice waking up to a view of Georgetown lake and the mountains behind it. We had a memorable time.

We had a great stay - loved all the games - played more pool than we have in years! The view is unbelievable. Snowed just enough to make it a great Thanksgiving with our family.

We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! The cabin was amazing and very well stocked, plenty of wildlife around the cabin, and the host was an absolute pleasure. We are already planning to stay at this cabin again next year!

The home is great, the patios are great with beautiful views. The games supplied were great and the game room was a fantastic. Only suggestion I have for is linens, we had no dishrags and bunk beds were not made and had trouble finding sheets But we would definitely recommend and stay again. The home is beautiful and everything we could have wished for. Thank you. Ps we loved having are dogs with us and the house did not smell like dogs! Set up so nice!

The view of the lake didn't disappoint. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and it had everything we needed to feel like home.

The placement of this cabin on the hillside was amazing. Had a great view of the lake and mountainside. Definitely worth the money. The only problem my wife, my friends and I had was that it was dirty in multiple places. We found blood on a set of sheets, and also smelled like dog pee in several areas of the cabin. Also found a child’s shirt in the sofa bed in the basement. Shows not frequently cleaned. Also sad the pinball machine didn’t work. Still, overall a great cabin though!!!

This house is amazing. We really enjoyed the kitchen, deck and game room. Views were spectacular. House was well stocked and we didn’t want for anything.

Beautiful house in a beautiful place.

We ski at Discovery Basin each year. This cabin is a perfect distance from the slopes, and has a great entry for lots of ski gear. The owner was easy to get ahold of and wonderful to work with. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub, as well as the fireplace in the living room. The cabin’s floor plan is well thought out, and the decor is full of character. We cook a lot and loved the kitchen. You can’t help but enjoy yourself.

Very spacious house, plenty of room to spread out. Downstairs game room with a TV and upstairs loft with a TV. Grown ups could relax in the great room while the kids were entertained. We were very happy with our stay.

This cabin is located about 20 mins from Discovery ski area. This cabin provides everything you need for a wonderful winter retreat! It has everything you need from a cozy fireplace to great man cave! The hot tub was perfect for after a cold ski day! For anyone renting in the future I would make these recommendations! I when using Apple Maps it will place you just short of the driveway. The address is accurate on VRBO and gives you a good idea where you need to be when you check the map. It is just a little further down the road than shown on maps. One mistake we made was we did not bring enough food for the 4 days we were staying. Bring a big cooler if you wish to spend all of your time there. The nearest town(30 mins), Anaconda, has some great restaurants and grocery stores. We would recommend Donivan’s if looking for a great place to eat. Our trip was everything I hoped it would be! Thank you for such a great stay!

My family decided instead of exchanging Christmas gift this past year we would spend the weekend at a vrbo and make family memories as out gift. Not one of regretted that decision. David's home was beautiful and we enjoyed every single second. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our holiday family getaway. Most importantly, the beds were so comfortable and we all slept great! It was a short distance from Discovery Ski area and was festively decorated for the holidays which was a great touch! The only recommendation that I would make is a better cleaning job. Many of the kitchen dishes and appliances were dirty and some of the beds were dusty as if no one had been in them in a while. Otherwise, it was an amazing place and we will definitely be returning. Each year our family picks a different locale to gather for our annual family Christmas getaway and this property was our choice for 2022. It did not disappoint! The views were stunning and the cabin was spacious and cozy. The decor was nicely done and had a lot of history. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. After six years of this family tradition, we all agreed this stay ranked at the top of our list!

My husband and I spent the weekend at this great little getaway with our close family. There were 12 of us in total. The views were amazing and it was just a quick drive away from the lake. It was clean and accommodating. We loved the character of the property and enjoyed our stay!

Great view & Excellent Accommodation. Highly recommend staying there!

We had 9 adults here and it only sleeps 7 adults comfortably. There’s a bunk room for smaller kids that the shortest adults had to stay in. Spiderwebs everywhere and we were killing spiders left and right during our stay. We knew they had a grill so we bought groceries for grilling but we had to drive 30 miles back into town to buy propane because the grill was empty. The master bedroom had two large dog beds under the bed that smelled so badly like poop we left them on the front porch. The views are gorgeous!!!! A big outdoor space for entertaining. This specific cabin was just too far away from activities during this time of year and for the price of this cabin, you can find something much nicer. All in all, it was an okay stay. Probably will not come back.

We spent a week at this beautiful home and cannot say enough great things about it. If you are looking for a place to get away and enjoy the finer things in life, this is for you. There are places to walk and hike, towns to explore and if you just want to sit back on the porch and enjoy a cup of coffee, this is the place. Our grandson's especially enjoyed the game room. So quite, and comfortable, I hope to be able to return one day.

We had an awesome family vacation at this property. Beautiful view! The gameroom was fantastic, great dinners on the deck and rooms were very comfortable. Daves place has everything you need. Fishing in the lake was great. If you are going to stay at Georgetown Lake be aware there is no nightlife! It's a great place to unplug from life's crazyness.

We absolutely loved this rustic home and beautiful surroundings!! Hated to leave and sure do hope that we can stay there again sometime.

Wonderful property! Probably the best view of Georgetown Lake to be had in the area. We had zero issues with the property and David was very responsive on a couple of minor things. It was a great place to "basecamp" from to fish on the lake, visit Phillipsburg, and take in the bike park on the local ski hill. We loved our time at the cabin and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed exploring the Georgetown Lake area. It has many outdoor activities to offer. This home was well suited for our family and provided privacy. Our kids enjoyed the family room that kept them entertained while the rest of us sat on the deck taking in the amazing view. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in. It had comfy beds with black out curtains. It also was well stocked.

We had a fabulous time! We had some rain, snow, and beautiful spring / summer weather! Loved it all! We enjoyed the fireplace on the snowy day, and opened windows with the perfect breeze filling the beautiful lodge on warmer days. David had everything you need for the stay! We weren’t lacking in anything!! I can’t say it enough, this place was amazing! We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute! The beds not only were beautiful, they also were very comfortable! We saw a lot of wild life, like bald eagles, white coyote, elk, moose and dear. Every window had either a gorgeous view, or a wooded scenery. Great theme with decorations. All my family loved it, coming from Minnesota, Colorado, and North Carolina. Loved cooking in the great functional kitchen. You don’t need anything it’s all there, except the type of food you want to eat. Spices and many other things are provided. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. Lots of games, dvd’s etc. Relaxing in the hot tub topped off the evening . You won’t be sorry booking David’s place. A few things to be aware, a couple of our family has pet allergies, so that bothered them a little, but they had their medication so they still enjoyed it. I warned them ahead of time that it was a pet friendly placed ( I think it’s great that it’s pet friendly so pets can enjoy the outdoors too). There is no railing going downstairs for people that need that assistance, and the street number doesn’t show on the road to the house. Great place stay however!

A beautiful cabin with a great view. This cabin would be a perfect getaway any time of the year. Lots of thoughtful details, quality construction and finishes, great spaces, and beautifully furnished. David was very responsive before and after our stay. We would be lucky to visit again!

This home was lovely, the views even better. Plenty of space with a touch of home that made our stay feel like we more than just guests. A beautiful view, a great location and easy communication with the owner made our trip a success. The space was set up with something for everyone, from kids to adults, gathering and solitude. We would definitely recommend, but we might like to keep this a secret to make rebooking easier!

We had a wonderfully relaxing trip to this house. Beautiful location and house. Great skiing nearby. We chose to cook majority of our meals. You do definitely need a 4WD vehicle to reach the property. It was pretty muddy on the roads with the snow melting. Our dogs loved it as well. We would love to return in the summer.

Great Location and space for everyone.

This was our 4th year and we can’t wait to come back next year! This cabin is perfect in every way and a special visit from a cow moose added the extra wow factor.

The cabin and location are terrific. Beautiful views, lots of space, and charming features. It was a little dirty with a good amount of dust and cobwebs in the corners of some of the rooms, but the pros of the property made it easy to look past that. The cute pipe ladder in the bunk room came apart when our son tired to use it to access the top bunk. I guess it may just be for decoration. The property listing says there is no WiFi, but there is a working modem and wireless router in clear view. Not sure why guests are not allowed to use the Wifi, but it was nice to have some of the kids off their devices for a few days. Overall, we really enjoyed the property.
