The views were breathtaking. Marks home had everything you need, soft sheets, clean and fresh towels, well appointed kitchen, and room to relax on the deck or living room. Mona was wonderful with communication and answered all of my questions. I give this home 5+ stars.

Thank you for another wonderful stay- our 3rd! The property was a perfect base for us and so great to come back to after a full day of exploring. We loved hearing the water lapping of the water as we slept!

If you want a central location for exploring San Francisco and Mendocino, there is no better location. We explored all over the Bay Area, always delighted to return to San Rafael and this great house. Two master bedrooms with luxurious en-suite baths were perfect in every way. Multiple fluffy white towels, oh so comfy bed linens, and comfy beds made us fell like we were staying in a five star hotel. Manager, Mona, was there for us for every need - we could not get TVs to work on first day and she walked us through necessary steps. If you rent this home, know that you need to turn bedroom wall light on for the bedroom tv to work. We highly recommend this VRBO gem!

I have been attending conferences nearby and now stayed at this property 5x! I stay with a colleague and we each have our own privacy with a master bedroom/bathroom. It is absolutely lovely, so clean and well put together. Amazing views, falling asleep to the sound of the water each night. It feels like a little getaway when we return each day from the conference. The kitchen, living room, amenities in general are great and make it easy to get comfortable quickly. I have already recommended this property to colleagues who travel nearby for conferences because it is wonderful and I want others to get to experience it. I will definitely return whenever I am in the area. Mark is a lovely owner, very accommodating and flexible, as his manager, Mona. I give this property my highest recommendation

Loved the location and view. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the water at night. Plenty of room for two couples. Close to Muir Woods and the ferry to San Francisco.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great location for us to spend the day in Napa, hike in Muir Woods, and sight see San Fran city. The house was perfect for two couples with two master suites. The view was gorgeous and the neighborhood was so quiet! Perfect place and would definitely book it again! You will not regret staying here! We did not cook so I did not pay much attention to pots/pans, but it had a coffee maker with coffee, cream, sugar and they even left granola/protein bars. Fans, iron and hairdryers provided!

At the risk of sounding gushy we loved this stay! Not only was the house beautiful and cozy but the private beach was the icing on the cake! We are sea glass hunters and we found so much sea glass it was amazing. We were touring the San Francisco area but we made it a point to be back for low tide and walk the beach. The house was private and well equipped. I can't say enough good things about it!

The place is gorgeous and just what we needed, a break from city life. The kitchen is smaller than I expected but just fine for our purposes (we made pizzas and some other meals). Well equipped. The bathrooms were luxurious, the master had a view of the Bay which was super nice for soaking in the beautiful tub. The only thing that was a very minor minus was being able to hear the downstairs guests having a regular conversation / watching TV below us while we were sleeping (I.e. they weren’t shouting or anything loud, but the insulation was a little thin in that one spot (the master suite). Also for others staying make sure you bring a charger for your devices as there aren’t any USB or similar updated outlets in the house. We found a puzzle in the living room that we completed while there :) It was nice to unplug and relax for a few days. The rising and ebbing tide was mesmerizing. Thank you!

The house was lovely, clean, and had interesting artwork throughout. We stayed two nights with another couple and, while we truly enjoyed the lovely spot on the water, it was a pretty warm week for this area and the house does not have any form of AC. I think most times of the year this would be no problem, but I wanted to make sure potential travelers were aware as it wasn’t mentioned in the listing but was highlighted in the literature at the property.

Loved the ocean view, the short drive to San Francisco.

The place was super nice, clean and quiet. A lot of open space for everyone. The view on the balcony is spectacular whit the low and the hight tide everyday. I will recommanded this place for sure.

Enjoyed our stay at this bayside residence. The house was clean and relaxing. There are a number of stairs down to the property which was completely fine by us, I just overlooked this when reading about the listing and it made for a trek with all of our luggage and backpacking gear. :) Totally worth it though for this view. Would definitely stay again!!

My friends and I stayed at this property during Bottlerock Weekend in Napa so we didn’t spend a ton of time there but we enjoyed having breakfast on the patio in the morning before the concert and listening to the waves as the property is right on the water! There’s plenty of space for 4 people to spread out comfortably. The property is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Mona was very responsive and helpful. I sincerely appreciate her efforts. Would definitely book this place again!

We didn’t want to leave. It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the deck. We will be back!

Beautiful Bay view! Perfect for 2 couples with 2 master suites. Clean and comfortable. Having coffee there was a bonus! Easy drive to SF, Muir Forest and wine country!

A hidden gem on the bay. We had plans for each day but found ourselves cutting them short to get back to the house to enjoy the deck and sunsets.

Communication was fantastic and the property was just beautiful. We’d love to come again.

I can’t say enough great things about our experience at the Bay House. Communication was excellent, and directions/instructions were clear. Everything in the house was luxurious - linens, towels, soap - the kitchen was well stocked with utinsels and pans - even the iron was great! We had everything we needed. The bathrooms are humongous, the furniture and artwork beautiful, beds extremely comfortable, and the view can’t be beat. Exactly as described and then some. It was an easy drive into San Francisco, taking 25-50 minutes depending on time of day/traffic - very accessible, but far enough away that you get to relax and unwind. Thanks, Mark and Mona, for making our trip so great. I hope we have an opportunity to be back at some point!

The views from this beautiful home are amazing. We can’t wait to return. The house has everything you need and more. Sitting on the deck in the morning having coffee and looking at the view was unbelievable. It exceeded our expectations.

This is an amazing place. Pictures do not do it justice. Everything was OUTSTANDING from communication, checkin, cleanliness, overall information etc. I would stay here again next time in San Francisco.

My sister and I stayed at this property for about four days! We found the accommodations to be wonderful. The view is incredible, and the sounds of the water make for a peaceful stay. This place was amazing!

Beautiful home with spectacular views

We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish. It's a cute place with a great view! Mona, the property manager was easy to work with and provide lots of information. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay House. The home is very spacious, perhaps more so than the pictures can convey, lots of natural light, and all the right amenities to make sure everyone can be comfortable (blinds, ventilation, blankets, etc). We came from the East via plane and were very pleased not to need shampoo, soap, paper goods, it was all there. The view was stunning, including nearly full moon each night we stayed. I would recommend this property without any hesitation, and would love to return some day. As for the overall location, the neighborhood was delightfully quiet, and the people we saw were super friendly. Definitely loved walking to Andy's Market, and around the marina. We drove the few miles over to McNear's Beach/China Camp and hiked around there. We took the ferry from Larkspur into the Port of San Francisco to spend the day in the city, all easy and convenient. We also visited Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Point Reyes. Couldn't be a better spot.
