This house lived up to the billing and is walking distance to the many shops and attractions of New Glarus. The house is in great shape and the cow theme is quite cute.

The “Holy Cow” house is a charming home and very comfortable. Very easy to walk downtown for shopping and food. Terry was a wonderful host, and even had some cookies waiting for us from the local bakery. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting New Glarus.

It was so nice to spend a weekend with my adult children. No spouses, no grandkids. We don’t get the opportunity to get together because of distance but our stay gave us time to reconnect. We had a cute house that was very clean and tidy. Also one block away from downtown and close to everything. It was so easy to book and communicate with Teri. We had everything we needed to “cook in” a few meals. Thank you Teri!

It was a great place to rest and the proximity to the downtown area made it ideal for having some great food and wine and not having to worry about driving.
Nice neighbors and some great chairs for talking! A terrific halfway place to bring friends together from different geographies.

Perfect house for our family trip! Quiet bedrooms upstairs for the little ones to sleep and super close to downtown! Teri was great!

My wife and I met with some family members for an extended weekend visit. The house was ideal for our needs, having three bedrooms and a bath and a half.
It is well-furnished and in a convenient location only a block or two from downtown. We liked that we could walk to restaurants and shops instead of having to drive.
The house is bigger than it looks like from the outside with a nice living room, seperate dining room, and a finished recreation room in the basement. We didn't cook during our short stay, but the kitchen is well stocked if we had wanted to.
One minor criticism: two of the bedrooms do not have dressers. This wasn't an issue because our stay was short. But for an extended stay, I would want a place to put my clothes so I wouldn't have to live out of my suitcase.
Teri communicated well with me and I feel that if we had a question or problem, she would have responded quickly to address our concern.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

This is the second year in a row we stayed at the Holy Cow Guest Haus and it felt like coming home. Teri is a fantastic host and quick to answer any question or concern we had. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of room four adults.
New Glarus is a charming town and Teri’s home fits right in with the ambiance. Only 30 minutes from Madison, it’s an easy drive and a quiet, quaint place to relax and unwind.

We (two couples) came to visit for the weekend. It was perfect! Plenty of space and close to everything New Glarus has to offer! Owner was very easy to work with and very responsive…even mailed a left behind item! Thank you!!

House was spotless upon arrival and well stocked with all the essentials needed for our stay. Just a couple blocks "up the hill" from several shops, bars and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely rebook when we return to New Glarus!

From the house, we could walk to most places, everything was a block or so away. The only place we drove to was the brewery. Lots of good eating places, live music nearby. Owner had great communication and personal touches were appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the Guest Haus! It's perfectly situated in the heart of New Glarus with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The house is very thoughtfully equipped, all of our needs were taken care of. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We had a toddler and two older guests that found the main stairwell challenging given it is steep, so be aware of that if you have similar guests in your party. We would love to return to the Guest Haus in the future!

My husband and I stayed at the Holy Cow house while we were visiting family. The weather was unusually cold but we did explore the quaint Swiss town. You can enjoy the Christmas lights from while eating in the dining room. The coffee beans were a special treat. We bought a package before we headed home.
The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The many extras thoughout the house were much appreciated.
The communication with the owner was outstanding. We hope to stay again inthe future!

We stayed at this house for a girl's trip. The house was very clean with lots of room for all 6 of us. The location is amazing, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, walking trails. Teri was very easy to work with. We will definitely be back!!

Overall, it was less expensive, and much more comfortable than a hotel. Perfect for a family with a difference of ages of over 70 years. It was like spending the weekend together at home, but in a quaint little town away from home.

Fat Cat Coffee House serves amazing breakfast and bakery items. Don’t miss Rusty Raven - not your typical gift shop! Between the unique items you may run across, and the awesome owner, John, your visit will be an experience that will leave a smile on your face! Randy and staff at the Sportsman’s made us feel like old friends.

The house was clean, nicely decorated and has a fully equipped kitchen. We had 11 adults and children over to celebrate the holiday and did not feel a all cramped that day. The house is located 1 block from 'downtown'.
I could not say more about how pleasant, helpful and communitive Teri was. We had a minor problem (not with the house) and she was more than helpful.
I would no hesitate in recommending this property.

Wonderful little home right in downtown area. Easy walking to shops and eateries. The home was very clean and has a huge dining table for dining or playing games!

Highly recommend this property! Would definitely stay here again. Teri, the host, was responsive and helpful. The house is cute, clean and you can walk to everything in New Glarus. We went to the New Glarus Brewery (drive), a winery and then a restaurant in town. We went to the Wisconsin football game in Madison on Saturday. Easy 35 minute drive.

A well-kept house, the photos do not do it justice. Three bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed; 1-1/2 baths and a large living room and dining room. Beautiful large dining room table that we also used for our laptops. Lots of extra towels, paper products; everything was thought of. The house is 1 block from the center of town. The owner was gracious and helpful; Teri gets the highest accolades from us. I cannot imagine there is a better place to stay in New Glarus (or elsewhere).
