The host for the property will meet you and provide all of the information needed for the property. The property was fantastic. It is well cared for and very clean. Everything was perfect. The hot tub and facility were as advertised. Highly recommend this property for those who enjoy a beautiful home that is well cared for and provides a great balance of sleeping accommodations, bathrooms and living space. Ann meet us at the property. She is a lovely person who owns this beautiful property. We came to Lake Placid for youth hockey weekend. We enjoyed our family Christmas gathering at Iroquois Lodge complete with our Christmas meal prepared in a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. We had 2 Christmas trees for our gifts. We all had our own bedrooms with bathroom, which was wonderful. The house is large enough that everyone had plenty of space. The hot tub was enjoyable, especially after mother nature dumped at least 16 inches of snow while we were here. The snow really made our time together in Lake Placid seem magical! Thanks so much Ann for sharing your beautiful home with us! We'll be back! Missy

This lovely home is just perfect for spending a holiday with family who live all over the east. Easy to get to and just beautiful. Plenty of kitchen space to spread out, stocked with many dishes, pots, pans cooking for a big crowd. So many bedrooms, all had their own space with bathrooms. Large dining room table for serving a big family Thanksgiving dinner. The town of Lake Placid is just adorable and minutes from the home.

ADK Iroquois Lodge met all of our expectations. We were a group of 5 couples and stayed 11/4/22 - 11/6/22. The back decks, fire pit and hot tub were a plus. All of the rooms were spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out. Would have loved to stay longer than the 3 day weekend. Ann was very helpful and enjoyable.

5 full & 1 half baths. Kids in the basement with one full bath. Grandma & Grandpa stayed in the first floor bedroom with a bathroom with a shower that has a seat & secure grab bars, as well as a tall toilet. We suggested the owners add a handheld hose. Two couples stayed in 2 other rooms, and one teen took a room to himself, each with a bathroom. That teen borrowed the small TV from the kitchen. The 1st floor half bath is off the kitchen. Have to be careful with toilets. The dining room tables do seat 14. We had 3 kids on a bench on each side and two adults on each end of the two benches on folding chairs, which we brought with us, as we were only a party of 12. That was very comfortable. 14 might be tight if the group is all adults, but there are 3 tables - great for games and puzzles in warmer weather - out on the deck, as well as plenty of bar stools along the island in the kitchen if people want to spread out. People were happy with the beds. Family friendly decor. The kitchen was amazingly stocked. We always bring our 3 griddles with us when we come to Lake Placid, which work well for a large group. But there were lots of pots and pans, and pretty much anything that's needed, including an ice cream scooper. We were concerned about the kids setting drinking glasses down on the glass covered dining room table - and cracking either a glass or the table - so we purchased 12 sturdy Halloween cups from Price Chopper. The plate supply and the silverware supply, as well as mugs and bowls were enough for our group of 12 to have a meal, run the dishwasher, and then get more clean dishes out of the cabinets while the dishwasher was running to prepare for the next meal for 12 people. Excellent. We didn't need to use paper plates. The washer/dryer is off the kitchen. The hot tub was comfortable for 6 people for sure. They let us run the dishwasher and leave it running on the day of checkout. There are plenty of trash cans in a covered structure - 4 of them. We've had issues with not having enough room in the outside garbage cans in places we've stayed at in the past. Instacart delivers to this location. Host very responsive. The check-in process was not automatic - need to meet the host and set a target time. All of us were satisfied. S'mores enjoyed on the campfire. Lovely property. Grass and trees. We saw deer, quite close, about 6 times across a 3-day stay, through various windows in the house. We'll be back.

This was a great find for 5 senior couples from Western New York who love Lake Placid. Anne, the owner met us at check in and showed us around this lovely 6 bedroom home. A big plus we’re the king sized beds and private baths in each room. We were able to walk into the village and had a delicious meal at Top of the Park. The setting was very private and were able to enjoy a campfire without disturbing the neighbors. What made this trip even more special was being able to watch our Buffalo Bills beat the Rams on Thursday night. Everyone in our group said Iroquois Lodge merited a repeat performance!

We stayed here for our elopement in Lake Placid with family. We ended up getting married in the beautiful backyard. It was overall a fantastic stay. Communication with the owner was stellar. Definitely would stay here again!

This house was very nice but the smell of sewage in the basement was awful. The realtor told us she never smelled it before but that was untrue. There was a scented candle burning in the heater room. She did go out to but fans to help get rid of the smell but the rental was at a price point that this should not be an issue. We had to wash the comforters too and again we were told they were freshly washed but they weren’t.

Check in process with Anne was quick and informative. House was very spacious and easily accommodated our large family group. Kitchen was very large and was next to an enormous dining room table. The hot tub was used often as was the large screened in porch. Location is very quiet on a dead end street. Check out was no problem and Anne arrived promptly when we called and were ready.

Home was wonderful. Plenty of space for the 4 families. Very clean. Close to town. We had a great time. Ann was very responsive.

We had an awesome experience for our first Lake Placid Ironman. Ann was super helpful and very accommodating. Her house is gorgeous with private surroundings. All the comforts of home - for a large group. Thank you Ann for your hospitality. Seamans - party of 13!

This is a gorgeous 6 bedroom house located just minutes from the lake placid shops and restaurants. We have been coming to Lake Placid every February for years and found this house perfect for our large group of friends. The owner checked us in and out which was different from any other rental. However, she was courteous and knowledgeable of the area. And it is her property, after all. So I assume she wants to know the people staying there. Great time! Would rent it again.

Great location, property and home. It was perfect for our family Christmas celebration.. There was no arrival or departing info from VRBO. The owner called afew days prior to arrange meeting us. She explained some of the house rules. This was our first VRBO rental where the owner met us in person and wanted to do a walk through upon departure. A situation arose as we had a uhaul in the drive, after 2 days she called us and said the village ordinance did not allow uhauls and we must move it..I asked to put it in the garage, no, it needed to off the property..We move it to another property of the owner..Next day I spoke with village clerk and aisstant police chief, both verifying there was no such ordinance. This was most upsetting.. It left a very uncomfortable feeling for my family.

Our family had a wonderful time for our annual Christmas Ski trip. There was more than enough room for three families. The house is close to town, making it very convenient.

Each year we take our employees for a ski trip during Christmas. We had 19 people in this trip, therefore I booked this property for 14 people and an additional property for 6 but one person did not show up. I wanted to have all the people together just for dinner and they said I have broke the rules and they took money of my deposit for that and for having more trash than what their trash bin can hold. And charge me an extra hour because of the trash load. So this is what they do: 1. A person (the mom) comes to meet you at the propertybto check you and your group. 2. They give you all the don’t. (I am not sure why they rent the property if they do not want you to even move the furnitures) 3. YES they are watching you through their cameras. That’s what the mom tells you when you arrive. 4. No more than 6 cars and they repeat it to you every step you make in the house. 5. They post that they are pet friendly but the moment they see a dog they say that you need to pay extra. 6. Extra charge for the load of trash… we had a lots of trash because we took individual bottles of water. We did not want to touch they dishes because of covid. 7. The mom keeps on telling you not to move the furnitures… its like come to stay but dont do anything 8. And yes, the check out is at 10 but they call you at 9 saying that they will come over with the excuse of the hot tub cleaning… when we did not even use it. So…… if you are thinking of staying here, please read my review and the other person’s review… because it is absolutely true!!! They Invite you to rent their property but they do not want you to do ANYTHING and they are behind you controlling each step.

Stayed for a quiet bachelor weekend. The house was so comfortable and clean! Mia was very helpful and showed us the whole property upon arrival. Great time! Would definitely stay here again!

We love the VRBO experience. My wife and I travelled for a family wedding, we were able to be with my 2 married daughters + their kids, plus my mom + brother. The place was huge, 6 full bedrooms, %1/2 baths, huge kitchen, great space to hang out. It was spotless with all amenities we could have imagined, incl ping-pong + fuseball tables. 5 min drive to main street, huge property + hammock that my grdaughter loved, Diane was friendly, available- we needed a diff kitchen chair for a booster seat for a 18mos old, in no time Diane was back with the right type of chair. I rate it 11 out of 10. My wife + kids want to come back thanksgiving.

We have five adult couples for the weekend. The accommodations were perfect for our reunion. The Cleanliness was impeccable. Six private bedrooms each with their own full bathroom was extremely convenient. The owner and caretaker were very helpful and always available by phone for any questions. If I had a large group again I will go back in a minute.

The house is spectacular, the property manager tremendous! Clean, well taken care of, nicely appointed. They had everything we needed to make dinner (including a garlic press and zester)! The bed were comfy and we lacked for nothing. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A group of four families stayed here while playing in a lacrosse tournament. The layout of the house was perfect for the teens to be downstairs for hanging out and sleeping, adults upstairs. The house was equipped with everything needed - full kitchen, grill, linens, grill, fire pit, hot tub. If anything came up the owner/manager was quick to fix any issue. Looking forward to going back next summer! A short walk to downtown if you needed.

we had a group of 12-14 and everyone had their own space to sleep, room and have fun. the downstairs is huge with all the games needed. ping pong!! there is an entrance to the garage which is also huge. the yard is spacious and an oasis from the bustle of town. we walked home from town in the evenings-- it was not that far!! worth it to have the privacy and yard. highly recommend the house and the owner is knowledgable and super nice!!

The amount of en suites was perfect for such a large group, as were the spacious deck, hot tub, screen porch, and common areas.The property managers were very communicative, and we had no issues getting our questions answered and knowing what to do to check in and out. Note that the property managers are very diligent about outlining some of the onerous Town of Lake Placid requirements (noise ordinance, parking on the street, and general wariness of rental properties), which could come off as strict and worrisome for larger groups. That being said, we had no issues throughout our stay, including while playing music outside in the hot tub at night. Just know that only 6 cars are permitted in the driveway.Would gladly come back with another large group.

Due to covid we decided to stay in NY & explore parts of the Adirondacks that we typically don’t and this house was centrally located for what we wanted to do. Ann the owner was so easy to communicate with and made our visit from prepping to staying to leaving extremely easy. I misunderstood the a/c part and thought the entire house had a/c but we managed and the house is exactly 1 mile from the village not 1/2 but we didn’t mind the extra walk. It is very safe and great if you like to jog or walk. It’s 5 miles from the house to the village, around Mirror Lake and back which was beautiful. I highly recommend this house. The kitchen is great to cook in and plenty of room for family. At one point we had 11 of us under one room with still plenty of space. I can go on all day!

It was difficult to get any answers from property manager before stay. Check in was fine except we found out there’s audio and video monitoring outside at all times! Just strange…. Set up check out time, signed papers, received rules. Only 6 cars allowed in driveway, yet we weren’t told there was 2 stall garage that could also be used. The next morning, the owner’s mom (property manager) showed up to water hostas and was talking to herself so we knew she was there. Why show up when we are paying to rent? It was awkward and rained that day anyway. We set check out for 12:45 yet she called at 9 a.m. asking what time we wanted to check out! Had to start laundry before leaving. But no central AC. The maintenance guy brought an air conditioner for upstairs, but the heat was on and extremely warm inside the house while it’s summer! So with all these interruptions, it made for a strange stay. The basement smelled of musty and damp areas. That’s where the ping pong table was also!

The cottage is located very close to the village of lake placid, good options of food near by. There is a grocery store nearby, so if you are planning on cooking in or grilling, you don’t need to go far! The cottage is well equipped all the required facilities. Ideal for large groups

We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was at the top of the list. The owners manage the property and treat it like home and expect you to do so as well! It is a very well laid out house with large rooms and plenty of space. For those travel ‘snobs’ looking for space for you and your family and comfortable beds; this is a great house. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, frying pans may be ready for an upgrade, but tons of plates silverware, glasses - and great quality. The hot tub was one of the cleanest we’ve been in. It’s a beautiful quiet neighborhood and great to just get out and walk around. It’s super close to town and an easy drive and even a manageable walk. One thing to note is the owners have cameras with sound outside. We knew that ahead of time and while it was odd in the beginning it would not stop me from renting again - and I understand, given the neighborhood rules, why they do it. I would easily rent again - already tried for 2022 but the weekend we wanted is booked ☹️
