The location was perfect for our ski trip. There was an abundance of space for our party of 6. My kids loved sledding down the slopes right off the porch after the lifts closed. This unit is a very short walk to Purgatory Village which was very convenient. There were little care kits in each bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and linen spray. There was a kitchen kit with a sponge, small thing of dish soap, hand soap and a couple of dishwasher pods. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Cons: parking…One thing to note if you go during the winter, there was only barely parking for 2 vehicles. One inside the garage and one in the driveway. This unit had leaky gutters and therefore coming out the front door and down the driveway was dangerously icy! We had a couple of falls. Also, there was a ginormous icicle hanging from the roof that actually fell while we were out skiing and dented our brand new truck. There needs to be a little more attention to the outside maintenance for safety reasons. The upstairs bathroom tub did not drain well. There were no dish towels provided so make sure to bring plenty of paper towels or take some from the bathrooms. One other annoying thing was that there were no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can. I reached out to the host and they said they would bring some but they never did. None of these things would prevent me from coming back but just some things to note. The host was always quick to respond if we had questions.

To our delight we got 13" of snow. The children really loved swimming in the heated pool in the middle of a snowstorm. We were very pleased by the idea that they could sled just off the back of the cabin back porch in the fresh snow. the unit had an abundance of cooking utensils, pots and pans, as well as resort gifts and amenities that were a pleasant surprise. Above our expectations, the perfect mountain getaway we were looking for! Highly recomend.

Stayed for an end of season ski trip. The ski in ski out was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the mountain.

Generally everything was great and VRC is very easy to work with and responsive. I do have 2 complaints regarding cleanliness of the property. First, The coffe pot had a half pot of who knows how old coffee in it when we entered on the first day and the Keurig had a used K-cup in it.Second, in the upstairs master bath there was a large amount of dog hair on the tile floor.Everything else was fine.

Everything was perfect with the exception of needing a extra gate for the second set of stairs.

Only 2 issues, the garage door code did not work which was not a big problem but the back French doors while they lock are not secure. On a windy day, the doors blew open and they were locked properly .

We have stayed in 8 places in Purgatory over the last few years. By far, this is the best! Not only is location prime but mattresses are good, kitchen supplies are new (not owners old stuff like so many others), pantry has room for food, coffee station, comfortable couches and clean, clean, clean!!! We didn’t want to leave.

What a great trip! True Ski-in/Ski-out but also fun for those not skiing. So close that you are able to say hi to family and friends while riding up the lift. The unit was stocked full of everything we needed. Sledding after the the hill was closed for the day was great for the kiddos as well! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Our families have been coming to Purgatory for over five years for our annual ski trip. We have stayed in many of the elk point properties, great location. Cori’s home has become our favorite. Ease of access to the slopes along with a great view for the non-skiers. Attention to detail of the property makes the difference, Cori has created a very welcoming environment for people of all ages. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

Of course, 18” of snow during our stay was a huge hit, but the condo was great! Pantry was well stocked. Humidifiers made a HUGE difference. We all commented on how well stocked and put together the space was. Thanks Cori for sharing your space with us!

Great location. You couldn’t want for anything with this rental. Property owners are exceptional. Perfect for all ages skiers and no skiers alike. I can’t say enough about our time here. We will definitely will return.

Great location with plenty to do in summer. Kitchen Provided everything and more. No central air but fans were in every room. Very easy to communicate with owner.

We had such a great time. Everything about the property was perfect. There were so many thoughtful details our host provided, but the best was the coffee bar!!! The process of booking, checking in and leaving was very simple and Cori did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

Our family of 7 stayed here for my sisters wedding at Purgatorty. The home was gorgeous! It was totally equipped from laundry, to a full kitchen, to coffee bar. Huge rooms. The host was amazing when we had questions. Base of the mountain. Close to Purgatory resort. Would stay again! This time maybe in the winter!

Better than 5 stars! The home was absolutely beautiful with lots of personal touches from the host. They were so great, from questions before booking, through the booking and check in process, and throughout our stay - answering questions quickly and truly going above and beyond to give us ideas, great suggestions, etc. Truly great hosts and beautiful home. Can’t wait to stay here again next year.

The house was great, perfect for our family of 7 with plenty of extra room. Awesome location for the tweens to walk around but still be close to the house. Lots of close activities, we enjoyed Rock pirates 4X4 in Silverton and rafting with Colorado adventures. We would definitely recommend staying in purgatory!

This was our favorite vacation rental we've ever stayed in. It was incredibly well stocked - from the kitchen (the coffee bar was amazing!), to the bathrooms, to the game cabinet - the owners have thought of and provided for every detail. It's a very comfortable and clean unit - all of the furniture/bedding/towels seem nice and new. You can't beat the location - it's right at the bottom of the ski run and a very short walk to the base area. We went to the pool/hot tub every day of our stay - the kids loved it and the views were incredible! Highly recommend!!
