Very quiet and room was well maintained / clean. Lots of products in room you can purchase if missing something, hungry or thirsty. Friendly owner. Close to White Sand beach which is beautiful.

Lovely bungalows, very spacious , comfy bed . breakfast served to your balcony . Resort is in a nice garden setting . super friendly and helpful host . I felt so chilled and at home there .

The host was helpful.
The host clearly didn’t like our travel plan which he mentioned several times during our stay which to me is unprofessional.
We booked a tree house room. which in the picture looks like it is a pretty high remote place, but this is not the case. the houses are build very crowded on the area which giving it a very chaotic vibe.
You definitely need a scooter or taxi to get somewhere because it’s not located very close to a beach or a town.

The setting is so beautiful and lush, pool is clean and a perfect temperature on a hot day, breakfast is good, solid wifi but the best thing about the place is Marcel , his wife and staff, such wonderful people, thank you.
The place is exactly as outlined, the closest beaches are 2-3 km either north or south of Macura, east on scooter or songthaew come by every couple minutes for 50 baht, no problem.

Cons: Dark room. Small and one-sided breakfast without options compared to other Koh Chang hotels and resorts. Overrated price-quality ratio compared to hotels and resorts of similar classification. The steep downhill road to the main road scraped the bottom of the car front
More lights to the room. Because the windows are small ones, needs to be brighter lamps. The very steep downhill road. Only a small swimming pool. And i didn't dare to go to the big swimming beaches by car because of the steep road .

The Hotel is at a very quiet place, a little bit off the main road so you can‘t hear the traffic at all. The garden is very well maintained, even during offseason when I went there. Host is very friendly and will not hesitate to give you tips and tricks during your stay.
Can‘t really think of anything. There are of course minor details but nothing to mention considering the price per night.

The best thing about this place is Marcel, the owner. He would do anything to make your stay amazing. I loved the surroundings of this place, a well kept garden, and the fact that you can see palm trees and stars from the pool at night. All in all lovely stay. One point to consider is that you will need a bike to get to all good restaurants and main beaches so if you don't drive this place might not be for you. Having said that... there is a fantastic brekkie place 10 min walking - Everflow and a cool bar by the beach, good for sunsets (Juju).
This is only my thing but... the bed was too soft! Hahah I live in Thailand for too long now, need a hard Thai style bed. :)

Marcel and his wife was super lovely people and really made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Also, the place is exactly what we were looking for, bungalow style, good location, close to the beach, will definitely visit again!

Koh Chang is all about jungle or beach. If you look for jungle side of the island - this is the place for you. Very quiet, peaceful huts located on small space in green area, with lovely sounds in the evening or night. On the other hand - a few steps to the main road with shops (Tesco) and restaurants (including at least one with authentic Thai food) and, if jungle is not enought for you, few more steps to the sea. If you are looking for sandy beaches, it's 2 kms away, so still within walking distance.
Wide choice of tasty breakfasts (a la carte), great owners.
