Nice gift pack, was appreciated. Nice location. Very warm and cosy cottage with good facilities.

For a start a decent clean. Was dirty and the shower was blocked which would have been evident to whoever cleaned the shower prior to our arrival. We also obeyed the no parking as 1 SPACE reserved for main house, No.28. However guests arrived at No.28 and parked 3 cars on the driveway and green area at the front of the property.

All fine but sea views were promised and only available from the stairs and upper beroom

A quaint little cottage in a great location.

No privacy. Other property individuals can see through every window and you can see into theirs. Awkward! No microwave, gate was difficult to open / close.

Fantastic location and lovely clean property with everything that you need. Great welcoming pack comfortable and nice little outside space.

Great location in a charming town. Lovely cottage with nice touches and very generous extras. All the boring things you normally have to go out and buy are provided and more.

There was genuinely nothing we didn’t like.

Sykes cottages were not great at responding to questions via booking.com - insistently sending links to their own portal which was very corporate and impossible to work out how to get an answer to a bespoke question. Why use booking.com if you won’t answer questions via booking.com?! Harriet’s cottage is lovely. A few things that could be improved: provide better kitchen equipment for guests who want to wash dishes in the sink; cook in the oven (no oven-proof dish and no oven gloves). The grill pan hadn’t been cleaned when i arrived and the recycling bin in the kitchen had not been emptied. Didn’t spoil my stay (it’s such a great cottage and very nicely furnished) but I did notice these little things.
