Two night stay in accessible room with breakfast paid for. Hotel reception staff were helpful and the service staff at bar and restaurant areas were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice and the buffet was clean and food presented well. We had two evening meals in the bar area and they were both very satisfactory. We didn’t use the pool facilities but how nice to have them available to use. We would use this hotel again.

Nice, clean place but the bedrooms are incredibly warm and the air con is restricted to 19 degrees and only stays on intermittently. I found the pillows very uncomfortable but there was a sign in the room suggesting that they offered a variety of pillows to suit individual need. However, when I asked at reception, i was told they weren't sure what was available and would have to check and get back to me. After id not heard back after 45 minutes, i tried to call reception twice and it just rang out for 3/4 minutes on both occasions. I was so tired at that point, I gave up but had 3 nights poor sleep. Two of my colleagues reported similarly negative experiences, a real shame as we have lots of local stays planned over the coming months.

I couldn’t get the subtitles on the tv to work in the early Evenin I like to take my hearing aids out and give my ears a rest and watch tv with subtitles but I couldnt

Amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful particularly Ana on reception. The hotel was very well located. The rooms were spacious enough and we had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with extremely helpful staff. They went out of their way to chat to you and made the stay even better. I’d highly recommend a stay here and would definitely revisit whenever we return to the area.

Lovely clean, quiet room overlooking greenspace, excellent pool and spa facility, good restaurant and bar. All staff were delightful and so very helpful. Highly recommend this property!!

Check in was good, staff very friendly and helped carry my bags up the stairs (no lift). Very comfortable and clean and welcoming to my dog too. My only issue was that, after ordering and paying, it turned out the vegan option was unavailable as was one of the only two other (and only starters) options. Long waits around all of this but the staff did their best and when they refunded me gave me a full refund including my drink and the one vegan starter that was available. I’ve generally had a very positive experience here, would stay again.

Comfy, quiet, spot on.

Nice hotel. Long wait for dinner due to having a coach party in. Claudine the breakfast server was lovely so friendly and helpful. More people like her are needed in restaurants.

Checked in by a very friendly receptionist Charleen, made us very welcome. Ate in the restaurant food was ok, breakfast though was excellent, well cooked lots of choice & hot plates! My one complaint at most other hotels is cold plates. Nice room comfortable bed. The heath club was an added bonus, good size pool steam room & sauna, unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t working although you could sit in it & it was nice & hot. The staff were also pleasant & helpful. All in all an excellent stay.

My review is from a disabled point of. But don’t be put of normally as it’s clean, comfortable and very friendly staff…We are not wheelchair bound but both suffer from severe arthritis and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a hotel that has King size beds with a shower room as was this case and to have a king size bed we had to rent a family room but they only had baths and all on the 1st floor with no lift which made walking up and down to and from the room very difficult and painful. I’m unsure how wheelchair users would manage. The hotel and staff were good and helpful even when we had some food shortage issues with our orders. Anyone reading this please be aware of a minor discrepancy of buy 2 glasses of wine and you’re given the rest of the bottle free…It’s only on the House wine…I’ve put this because it doesn’t explain that on its advert…and it left a lot to be desired 🙁

Delighted to be in an executive room with a stocked minibar! Also ate in the restaurant - burgers were excellent. Added bonus being the Red Roses were also staying in the hotel!

The hotel was well appointed, clean and the staff very friendly, helpful and nice to be around. Breakfast excellent. Parking good. Really enjoyed our stay.

Small, but efficient room in excellent condition. Comfortable bed and quiet. Somewhat removed from any walkable pubs, restaurants or shopping, but the onsite restaurant was good. The optional breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices for hot or cold food.

Good hotel in excellent condition with a comfortable room. Only some minor gripes 1) toilet flush in bathroom was pathetic. 2)breakfast in restaurant, freezing draught from aircon made it uncomfortable and soon made cooked breakfast cold. Also couldn't find a teaspoon anywhere.

Friendly welcome on the desk, bar staff were also accommodating when we asked to borrow some cutlery for a takeaway. Rooms are comfortable and the TV was huge! Streaming platform interface actually worked as well which isn't always the case in hotels. The health club is fine, quite small and was busy when we visited on a bank holiday weekend.

Late arrival so no drinks or food after 9.30. Staff nice and room very quiet and comfortable.

We were very happy staying at this hotel, the staff on desk were very friendly, happy and helpful. We enjoyed the pool with it’s steam room, sauna and jacuzzi, a great way to relax after a day of travelling. The dinner menu had good options and the breakfast was a buffet style with a wide variety of food and drinks. We would stay at this hotel again, as a family we recommend it. The only downside, and this was our fault, was that we didn’t book a table for dinner so the restaurant was full when we came down for dinner. We were able to eat in the bar area - but next time we would book a table.

The property was clean and quiet, just what I was looking for. on the down side I felt that I was in Peking at breakfast and their manners and behaviour left a little to be desired.
