Very quiet and private and easy to access shopping and food.

Clean pleasant Breakfast menu board. Only downside was no ice machine on the 3rd floor. But that was minor.

Older hotel some things showed their age. Overall everything was fine, bed was ok and shower had good water pressure.

Good value overall. Better breakfast options than other hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nothing fancy but perfectly acceptable for my 1-night stay. I’ve stayed at this BW a few times over the years and will likely return In the future.

Calm and friendly staff all the way thru - nice and quiet! Room was cleaned and very tidy each day. Breakfast was very filling and full meal. The air conditioner did not work properly, however the maintenance man came in and got things working quickly.

Very nice, modern accommodations with a very professional young woman at the check in desk. Room was immaculate and nicely furnished. Breakfast was better than average, but the dining area was exceptional for a motel in this price range.

Fast efficient service

This site is acceptable, however, the wireless internet crucial for my stay was virtually non-working. If this is a business friendly site, internet access for business is crucial. Elevator was not working when we arrived & was minimally functional to our 4th floor room by the time we left.

Room was nice and clean> Bed was very comfortable!

Everything was pretty much fine. Only complaint was everyone the furnace kicked on it was pretty loud. Seemed clean in room.

The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean enough but the ceiling tiles were falling down and it was loud! The mini refrigerator was making such a loud noise, I actually unplugged it from the bundle of frayed wires wedged behind the TV and just said goodbye to my leftovers in the fridge. The heat/air sounded like a rattling freight train and there was a loud clicking noise that came from the vent (sounded like a loud turn signal that you would hear from your car or something?) Anyways, it kept me up and it was too late to try and get a different room, so I just ended up sleeping like crap all night. I took a video of the weird noise coming from the vents and how loud the room was and showed it to the front desk girl in the morning, who responded with a smirk and said "well I sleep with the TV on". Okay, well good for her but I was supposed to work my six 12hr shift that week and I was exhausted because I was unable to get a good night sleep. I've stayed in a lot of hotels as a travel nurse and understand that things break but it was the response of the front desk girl who really made me upset. Like what ever happened to customer service? No cares were given and I will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

We were given a "non-smoking" room that smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that it was kind of nasty. We are not smokers.

They have a breakfast buffet and a very good restaurant connected to it, close to interstate and other fast food restaurants and gas stations

Love the shuttle to the surf

We were first given a room that was "adjacent" to the building - no way - the room was in a parking lot - wanted to use the pool and it was 30 degrees - we were not going to be walking outside. The individual that greeted us never made eye contact, could hardly hear her and was not friendly like all your posters said your employees were - they did have a great breakfast. Will not stay there again and will not suggest.

The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We took their shuttle to the Surf for a concert, and the shuttle driver was very nice too. The room and the hotel smelled good and was very clean. The beds were comfy too

Nice hotel. It was located in a convenient location to the Surf Ballroom and it was nice that the hotel provided a shuttle to the concert.

As by the title, as soon as I realized it was owned and operated by Kinseth I knew the quality of the ownership, having done business with them in the past. So, admittedly, I'm biased. I stayed in this property 20+ years ago and had a favorable experience so when the opportunity came up that necessitated for me to spend the night in Clear Lake I chose this hotel. Not worth the price. This was the most expensive hotel that was posted on hotels.com for this area. For this price, in my travelling experience, one would expect more modern conviences (i.e. direct USB plug in's for devices, better TV interface, a bathroom with upgraded shower heads). We constantly needed to jiggle the toilet handle to keep it from running. Caulking and damage repair was noticably visible in the bathroom Needed to return to our vehicle to retrieve power plugs for charging devices. Positives: The Post it note for 20% off in Bennigan's restaurant was appreciated. The breakfast buffet wasn't bad, something I hadn't experienced before, a rotating daily breakfast offering. Saturday morning was make your own breakfast burrito. Bottom line is that there are more affordable, updated newer hotels in the area. Take a look at those.

Staff was friendly and hotel was clean which was appreciated. Took a few minutes to get warm water for the shower, toilet handle had to be held down while flushing to flush completely, and mattress was a little hard. Other than those items, the staff made it a pleasant stay.

We had to drive around to the back of the property to get to the room which was in a separate building and connected by a tunnel. The on-site restaurant had a limited menu and bar closed by 9 pm.

Chuck, the shuttle driver, was great! Supposed to be queen beds but were fulls.

Staff was kind and property was okay, but the overall area is pretty rough. Most of the people were in the hallway and drinking and loud all night, felt like a dorm or a low end hotel. We only needed it for one night but we definitely heard everything. Thin walls and the cleaning staff were yelling at each other down the hall in the early am, pretty odd overall.

We liked the breakfasts and the variety we were offered. What we did not like was the lack of room service ( almost non-existent even when we asked for it).
