We were advised about not having a pool and we was ok with that, but neither Expedia or Holiday Inn Express and Suites had anywhere on their website about not having beach access. After we paid we were told there was a 6 to 8 minute walk to get to the nearest beach access. This was a big factor since my wife has medical issues. If this was noted on the website i would have never made reservations!

Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel was another thing, the pool was under construction and there was no beach access which was not disclosed on my reservation. Even though I was right on the beach I could not walk down it. I was told by the front desk that I had to go out front on the street walk 6 minutes and take the beach ramp... Not something you want to do when you have 2 kids with you and the main reason I booked this hotel was because they had a pool and beach access, both which turned out to be not true Very disappointing, inconvenient and ruined the whole weekend to say the least

Everything was lovely we got the top floor and seen manatees! The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. The room was clean and spacious the AC was super cold and quiet and most importantly the bed was soo comfortable we will definitely stay again.

I had a last minute trip come up that brought me to the area. The price of an Airbnb with all the fees attached plus not being able to stay on the beach wasn't an option this time around. I kept looking around for a few days, and then this hotel popped up for a very reasonable price right on the beach with an ocean view. There was a small parking fee, but there was always parking and it was easy to come and go. The pool was under construction while we were there being redone which kind of stunk, but we did have the beach. It honestly was so hot we didn't even last long outside. Our room was clean, but my complaint would be around whatever was sprayed to give a fresh smell. It was just a bit too strong. Other than that, the air worked great and gave a white noise sound helping us to sleep. The ocean balcony was so relaxing and nice. The water pressure in the shower was strong. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig with several options, and a normal size dryer that was detached opposed to those small ones that smell like they are about to catch fire in 2 seconds. There was also a free breakfast that I found quite impressive. There were options for several different eating habits (healthy, gluten free, and I don't care). The beach access is to the side of the hotel. There are public restrooms available, and a shower to wash off which was conveniently located for us. Walking on the beach was fun in the evening.

The pool was out of service and we were not informed until after booking. Also, the hot breakfast was only available for about the first hour and a half of the morning. After that there were no meats or eggs left.

Great stay on the 3rd level the beach view was perfection. Hospitality was great and everyone was so nice. I’ll recommend and come back for sure!

It was overall ok. The building in is dire need of reconstruction. Lots of water damage from 6th floor down.

Amazing, exactly what I needed

The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. I loved the view of the beach but I mostly loved watching the sun rise from our balcony it was just breathtaking.

There wss only one staff available pool was not available due to renovation. Had to go to desk to get towels and facecloths

Room wasn't the cleanest.. towels were dingy and one had blood stains on it. The comforter on bed was dingy. Bathroom had hair on sink, toilet and floor. Due to lack of vacancies, we had to go purchase Lysol and Clorox cleaning spray to clean bathroom ourselves. Part of the headboard that was held by velcro fell while sanitizing the sheets and pillows. Trying to attach photos, but app will not allow me to.do.so

My family and I decided to take a trip to Daytona to spend the night on the beach. The access and view that we had to the beach was amazing! I feel as if the rate for the room was acceptable. The only callout that I have is that there was a strong smell approaching my room that reeked of throw up; however, we ran into one of the housekeepers on the elevator and she then made her supervisor aware of the problem. Later that evening I noticed that it no longer smelled. We will more than likely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was very nice with a beautiful view of the beach.

This was a great place. They are in the process of repairing some storm damage so the pool is not functioning but they are obviously working on improvements all over the property.

You have to pay for parking but they have more rooms than parking spaces due to their remodel going on. I was instructed to park across the street at a nail salon in a handicap spot. Breakfast was included but we got down there at 9:25 and they were out of every hot item and said they were not making more. There was approximately 20 guest that were frustrated right alongside me. The pool was not open.

I would have loved for the pool to have been completed, but that wasn’t their fault. Everything else was awesome. They, hands down, have the best staff!!! Will be returning next summer.

Right on the ocean with amazing ocean view. Though, there is some construction with pool closure and access to beach via public access next to hotel.

Service and employees were amazing and very welcoming. Our view of the beach was amazing. The only thing that was a problem was the pool was not finished, it was still in construction but it really didnt matter because the kids enjoyed the beach a whole lot better. They had a variety of food for breakfast and always made sure they kept cooking until they were certain everyone that wanted breakfast got breakfast until 11am.

We had an amazing time! Great views of the Atlantic Ocean from our room with a balcony. You can also see it right as you walk in to check in and at breakfast. The pool is being fixed due to the hurricane, but no problem, we swam in the ocean. Access to the beach was easy, and the location was convenient for all the activities we wanfed to do.

My first stay at this hotel and it was last minute. They accommodated me well. Front desk provided a quick check-in and the lady was very personable. The room was comfortable and clean. I was told all rooms are oceanfront with a balcony. They are still working on the pool and deck from the last hurricanes. Parking was good. Breakfast had many choices of standard fare. Location is south of the Daytona Beach action.

The room was nice, great oceanfront view on the 11th floor, breakfast was good! Only 2 minor issues was no ac vent in the bathroom so it was hot in there and we had 2 chairs only. Im not sure if thats what it was supposed to be but either way we enjoyed out stay. The staff was super friendly.

All rooms have an incredible ocean view BUT I was disappointed because the Pool was under renovation and they did not mentioned that in their page.
