My room smelled musty, and the AC unit didn’t cool very well. It caused me to have an asthma attack, and I had to go to an urgent care for treatment.

It's an older hotel and there was construction in the parking lot but nothing that was too intrusive and did not wake us. The room was clean and front desk was excellent.

We were there for work, but really enjoyed the stay and the amenities. Even got to hang in the hot tub at night and decompress. Great staff and people.

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious clean room and quiet location. A some stretches of the street surrounding the property don't have sidewalks so it's not completely a straight path to walk to the downtown area, but otherwise a good location.

Staff, cleanliness n size of the room was great. Since it was 95 outside, we needed AC. The AC unit was loud and over the bed. So slepping was a challenge. This was our room, not certain if other rooms have same layout

We came to Casa Ojai after reading numerous reviews at other places and chose it due to the higher than average ratings as compared to other resort hotels in the area. Casa Ojai is a throwback to motels that dot California. We choose this type of lodging when we are are short road trips. Why? because they are so nostalgic. Also Casa Ojai was completely renovated and it felt new and fresh. You will also find that there is a day spa and great Italian restaurant within a short 1/4 mile walk. Both stay open late so you shouldn’t have to worry about competing with all the other out-of-towners. Enjoy your road trip.

Ojai does not seem to have any 'big chain' hotels. Given that, this was a nice choice. Great location. Great a/c. Fun saltwater pool. Hotel seems a bit aged, but they have done their best to make it good. Is maid service not an option at hotels any more?

Hotel rooms need a facelift. Very old bathrooms, room feels gloomy just not very inviting or comfortable. Fresh coat of paint, replace some furniture and fix up vanity/sink area with newer appliances as well as better quality of lighting.

We had a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed.
Enjoyed the pool, spa and even checked out free bikes (manual) to ride into town. Getting to the bike trail is a bit of an adventure but the trail is an easy, pleasant ride. You'll recognize the Inn's design as an older style motor hotel so it's not fancy but they have updated the decor. You can enjoy a special time here in a resort community without being haunted by the cost. No breakfast onsite or within walking distance but there is a microwave and a toaster in the lobby so BYO. They could use some fluffy towels, but we were glad we chose this inn.

We loved this peaceful spot, the rooms with the patios are very nice and even have trees for shade. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. There is an extra pet fee.

The property is clean and close to the wedding we were going at - however I would not stay there again. There was absolutely zero water pressure, the tv didn't work, the towels are super old and harsh, there was no soap in the dispenser, the pool is right next to the main road and very load. Also, they won't clean your room until your third night which is annoying for the prices they charge. There's better options in Ojai.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The best part of this experience was the grounds: Beautiful plants and trees all around. Also, our 1st floor unit had a small, pretty, shaded separate patio. Just great!

Kind of expensive for an average motel.

This hotel (dive) is horrible. You will be overwhelmed by the stink when you enter the room. The mattress sags and the sheets are scratchy. The mini fridge is covered with so much ice, it is unusable. There are no remote controls for the TV. The HVAC is ancient and very noisy which only drowns out the running toilet- OH and the other guests fighting outside at 2a. I wouldn't even shower here. Left and found a new place to stay.

We love staying at Casa Ojai. Rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s quiet. Get a great night sleep. Don’t hear neighbors. Dog friendly. Easy 1 mile walk to town.

Great! Easy parking and in and out with car, clean, beautiful small pool and hot tub, very relaxed environment and staff and ambiance, easy access to town... Definitely would stay again.

Very friendly and kind service arranging a late check-in for us. Unfortunately the facility itself is a bit tired and cleaning does not seem to be completely on point as we found some trash and bugs in our room.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Very loud heater. Very unreliable internet in room and lobby. Poor power source access at the desk which makes that work space less useful.
