Everything! The coffee/tea nook with goodies all day, the quiet pool and jacuzzi, the grounds, the distance to restaurants and shopping, too many to name!
Sheets a bit softer would be all I have to say. The rooms were so comfortable and the beds too, the sheets were just a bit scratchy. My two cents.

Very quiet location. Easy to walk to main street. Fabulous amenities...thought the pool side snack/games cabin was a thoughtful surprise.

The hotel gardens were absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed the outdoor space adjacent to our room. It had a lovely water fountain and comfortable seating to enjoy the scenery.
I would have appreciated more info on local restaurants, only four places were listed in the in room guide. A more expansive list would have helped in selecting breakfast and dinner spots.

Very peaceful location within walking distance to downtown Ojai
Great bed.
Smallest bathroom we've had in years - and certainly not at this price. One had to slip between toilet and shower to close door. You could hear water and toilets flushing in room next door and above. Also could hear people walking and getting in and out of bed upstairs. Granted this is a beautiful old garden with rooms scattered throughout, but we expected basic comforts. Breakfast would be dropped at your door for $20. Mr Coffee in room made us bring our Nespresso.

We loved the charm, unique character and creative architecture. We also appreciated the high ceilings in the room, fireplace and comfy bed, and lounging in the pool and hot tub area. We love that we could park our car and walk to downtown for dining and shopping.

We loved everything about it. The esthetic, the cleanliness, location, ambiance, staff=very friendly, helpful, approachable. We were fortunate to be able to come during the week, so it was so quiet and peaceful. Loved the grounds, landscaping, the Red-tailed Hawks flying above. The Inn is lovely, and so unique! We felt at home. We loved the fact that the owner's husband who is also an architect and artist designed and created the Emerald Mosaic Iguana......we loved the addition of the copper within the sculpture! Fantastic.

Did not indulge in any breakfast options at the Inn. Loved the individualized design and layout of the room(s).
Parking was pretty tight. We were in a late model extended cab full-size pick up.

Continental breakfast was generous.The staff was so helpful and nice. We had a surprise planned and all the staff at the front desk helped us pull it off.
Room was dark and very dated. I do appreciate funky, but the walls and bathrooms have had better days.

Loved the location! We walked to breakfasts and dinners and it was close to great hiking in the nearby national forest.
The morning coffee could be better- so many great coffees out there, I think the iguana could easily upgrade. The snacks could be more inspired but overall we loved the lovely vibe with lush landscaping and unique, a bit magical landscaping! We will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Decor could have been slightly more modern, but I'm a designer so I'm particularly picky.

I really liked where it was and the comfort of hanging out at the property
I stayed in the Grasshopper room and it was excellent. Just for personal preference I didn't like the sink and tub right by the bed. I know a lot of properties do that ...just not my favorite.
