They're doing a little renovation in the lobby nothing too major. Definitely was a quiet stay. The front desk receptionist was awesome & polite, will be coming back real soon.

Loved everything about this hotel. Comfy beds super clean bathroom. Restaurant was very good. Free breakfast was good as well.

The staff was great! However, the property wasn’t the cleanest. It looks like they are doing renovations so hopefully this will change. The carpets in the rooms weren’t very clean. There was a mildew smell when I entered my room.

Checked in to room 309, the people staying in 308 were very loud and constantly slamming the door. When confronted they cursed me and threatened me with violence. Was moved to a different room on the 10th floor and the A/C didn’t cool properly, but at that time me and my family were exhausted from traveling so we made the best of it. The hotel personnel were very helpful with our situation.

Key would not work- had to go down to desk twice. Then had to wait to maintenance to change the battery. Was a little annoying after having just drove for 9 hours. Just wanted to get in the room and relax. Bathroom was a little dirty. No continental breakfast- for quite an expensive room/ hotel. For the price really expected more. Would not stay again. Staff at restaurant was great.

HORRIBLE Service!!
We came to enjoy our family stay and the parking space was horrible. There was an event going on at the hotel and took over all the parking spaces, when we came back to park at the hotel there was no parking spaces & we had to park in the garage infront of the hotel & pay $11.25 per car, keep in mind we reserved 3 rooms & paid $11.25 for each car in the garage. Totally unfair, because the parking spaces should be for the customers.
So just be ready to pay extra for parking, because the front desk was no help & said they couldn’t do anything about it.

It’s a pretty good property with an affordable rate. Pool area needs updating and painting; the bathroom door is rusted through at the bottom and will not close. . Doors to rooms need to be painted. The pool needs lights for after dark which I believe is mandatory.

Overall good stay. Older decor and it took the water awhile to heat up are the only complaints. Food at hotel restaurant was beyond what we were expecting. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to downtown area/ convention center.

The room was really nice and clean and the staff were very professional and nice. I would say if you’re going out at night just make sure to get back by a decent time or all the parking will be gone at the hotel. We had a hard time finding a parking space after going to some night clubs. We eventually just paid for parking at the parking meter.

It is overpriced for what you get. It is old so it has that damp muggy atmosphere making for poor air quality. The water pressure was very weak. The gym had very little equipment. There were zero chairs for the pool deck. Breakfast is an additional cost for food that is poor quality and not the greatest service. Downtown Mobile has a long long way to go and should not charge what they do in this area considering how bad of shape it is all around.

The property showed quite differently than the photographs presented online. Overall an adequate hotel, many amenities are outdated and could use an update or some love.
No seating at the pool whatsoever - very different than the posts online.

Limited and unsafe parking. The parking that was designated for guest were used for public parking. People were double parked, parked in fire lanes and parked in handicap parking spots. The desk clerks could not and would not do anything about it. Very noisy in the rooms.Wait staff in the restaurant were unorganized. Will definitely choose another location next stay.

We enjoyed our visit and recommend this hotel to other travelers. The location is ideal; it is very close to the historic district and easily accessible to I-10. There are numerous restaurants close by as well as bars and entertainment venues. The on site restaurant, Lafayette, has decent menu selections at reasonable prices. Talking with our hostess, Martha, was one of the high points of our stay! We plan on staying again when we return.

I stay here when in town (2/3 per month) because it is convenient to work location. The place is a bit outdated and could use freshening up a bit. The staff is always great and helpful. The 17th floor bar is very cool, with 360deg views of area.
